About this listen
Nothing can take your business to the next level like great search engine optimization (SEO). Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to know what will successfully drive traffic, leads, and sales. If you want to stand out from your competition, your search engine marketing needs a distinctive blend of creativity and logic.
Maybe you’re a marketing manager or executive who is responsible for SEO growth but do not fully understand how it works. Or maybe you are a seasoned SEO pro looking to optimize further. Either way, this book is your behind-the-scenes guide to online visibility.
When it comes to SEO, success often depends not on what you do but on how you do it. That is why product-led SEO digs deep into the logic and theory of SEO instead of offering step-by-step guidelines and techniques. You will learn to develop your own best practices and see where most SEO strategies go astray. If your main goal is driving traffic, you are leaving sales on the table.

Although software has become easier to build, launching and scaling new products and services remains difficult. Start-ups face daunting challenges entering the technology ecosystem, including stiff competition, copycats, and ineffective marketing channels. Teams launching new products must consider the advantages of “the network effect”, where a product or service’s value increases as more users engage with it. Apple, Google, Microsoft, and other tech giants utilize network effects, and most tech products incorporate them.

Story
The best products can still lose in the marketplace. Why? They are beaten by stronger product marketing. Yet, product marketing is widely misunderstood. It includes segmenting and targeting customers, positioning products vs. alternatives, creating product collateral, and supporting sales teams. But great product marketing achieves much more: it identifies the best way to bring your product to market, accelerates your product's ability to penetrate markets over time, shapes what the world thinks about your product and your category, and inspires customers to tell your product's story.

Most startups don't fail because they can't build a product. Most startups fail because they can't get traction. Startup advice tends to be a lot of platitudes repackaged with new buzzwords, but Traction is something else entirely. As Gabriel Weinberg and Justin Mares learned from their own experiences, building a successful company is hard. For every startup that grows to the point where it can go public or be profitably acquired, hundreds of others sputter and die.

Amazing SEO book, thanks Eli
I have over 100 audiobooks in my au audible library and this is my first written review, I am writing this because I feel I owe Eli a lot for the valuable information he shared on this book.
I used a lot of SEO contents before (books/courses/blogs) but this book summarised everything in a simple and straightforward way and tells you what to focus on. Even if you are not willing to go with his recommended product-led SEO approach which I strongly recommend, you can still benefit from the book (e.g tactical chapter).
I came across this audiobook by accident, The day before I downloaded the book I had an SEO Consulting call where I paid 400 dollars and it was not enough and could not afford to have more calls, therefore I decided to look for a book and learn it myself. I typed SEO on audible search bar I did not like the books that were on top of the search result and decided to pick this book although it did not have any written reviews, and it was the best choice I made.
I believe this book should be a must read for anyone who is involved in any SEO related work.

No clear audience
The author is highly experienced but the content lacks specific tactics and processes in favor of general principles like “great content people will love.”
If that is a new concept for you then this is book is a must read.
Meanwhile he deals with concepts like SEO org and hiring decision trees which makes me think it is for the C level.
But, great production and easy to listen to.

Really I wish the author went deeper in certain topics instead of just high-level overviews that lasted a couple of sentences
