So Good
I devoured this, I just couldn't stop listening. It's well written and Nico and Ari are fantastic.
Nico and Ari are from enemy families, there's many issues and drama caused by them being together. But they compliment each other so well and have fantastic chemistry. The ending leaves me itching for the next book as I just have to know what happens next.
The narration was fantastic, Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson did an amazing job.

A Forbidden Mafia Romance!
This is the first book of the Verona Legacy Series, and the first book of Nicco and Ari Duet. They are opposites attract. Ari is a lovely character, strong, and loyal. Nico is dark, impulsive, and dangerous. He is also very protective, and surprisignly very supportive and caring with Ari. Wow!! This is an amazing start to this new Series! I enjoyed it! This forbidden mafia romance is fast-paced, intriguing, and captivating. The world building, and the twists and turns, are well done. And THAT ending!! I can't wait to listen to the next installment in the Series! Sarah Puckett, Michael Norman Johnson did an amazing job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

Prince of Hearts
Prince of Hearts is the first book in the Verona Legacy series. This is the first book in the Nico and Arianne duet. This book is a dark college family rivalry mafia romance.
Nico and Arianne meet at college. They start to fall for each other, but secrets about their family come out. Will Nico and Arianne get through everything that is thrown at them, or will they be torn apart by their families.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

That story though... 😯
Oh Emm Geee... this book! This audiobook checked off all my favorite things... mafia, enemies, college, dark, romance... it could NOT have been any better! Mafia and dark romances are one of my guilty pleasures! It's everything I love in a romance where two people are from crazy different worlds... they clash, tempers flare, hot, dirty sex is had. Nicco and Arianne had me so immersed in their world! LA Cotton pulled out all the stops and has probably written her best book yet... yes, I just said that! I was so wrapped up in this story that I felt the angst and drama.
Sarah Puckett always gives her characters identity and a personality that helps me feel the story fully, not just with my ears but with my heart. I liked Michael Norman Johnson and enjoyed the voices he used to kind of separate his characters but he didn't really feel like Nicco to me. He wasn't bad in the part but didn't fill Nicco's metaphorical shoes.

I’m baffled
Okay I really enjoyed listening to this book and I definitely can’t wait for the next installment. I totally went through an emotional rollercoaster here and I was literally at the edge of my seat. You have got to read or listen to this to find out what’s going on. The story and characters were very well written and it was wow. Alert 🚨 yes there is a cliffhanger. Lol... narrators did a fabulous job bringing characters to life and perfect pace in telling it. I honestly recommend.

Verona Legacy
Prince of Hearts (Verona Legacy Book One) is a new adult angsty college mafia romance. Firstly, Chasity Falls series was my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart. That being said Prince of Hearts stole my heart. I absolutely loved this novel so much. Without giving anything away, this audio is brimming with all the right ingredients to create a euphoria of sentiments. Highly addictive with suspense swirling around the pages at every chapter. I highly recommend listening to this audio. An exhilarating contempo new adult college mafia romance. I will be on a paraesthesia till the next audio is available.
Narrators Sarah Puckett, Michael Norman Johnson duel performance brought the characters and narrative to reality.
Sarah Puckett is a absolutely fabulous narrator as her performance was impeccable. Her intonation changes when necessary and brings the right sentiments. My absolutel favourite narrator. I felt Michael Norman Johnson did well portraying Nicco's father. However, I couldn't picture him as Nicco though. His inflection sounded older and not the right accent. However, his performance was believeable though.
Looking forward to listening to the rest of the series when available.
