In Primary Valor (The Forging of Luke Stone, Book 5), a ground-breaking action thriller by number one best seller Jack Mars, elite Delta Force veteran Luke Stone, 29, and the FBI’s Special Response Team, are summoned when a teenage girl is taken captive and trafficked to a billionaire’s private retreat in South America. Luke is handed an impossible rescue mission, pitting one man against an army.
Making matters worse, behind it all may be something much greater, leading to the upper echelons of government, and to a national security crisis.
Primary Valor is a stand-alone, un-putdownable military thriller, a wild action ride that will leave you listening late into the night. The precursor to the number one best-selling Luke Stone Thriller series, this series takes us back to how it all began, a riveting series by bestseller Jack Mars, dubbed “one of the best thriller authors” out there.

Shooting, flying, planning, back stabbing, megalomania, kidnapping, trafficking, it's all here. But it is better than that; there's guilt, trauma, and introspection. Several good people die and that's sad. The story balances the action with the self-justifying done by the bad guys, and the soul searching done by Luke, Ed, and the victim, as well as contemplating the motivations of the 70-year-old who can't leave the work. And then there's the question of whether death is enough punishment for some crimes. Not just empty hours of blood letting.
Well-balanced all around

Also technical accuracy. Specifically for weapons and accessories. Whomever reviews that part of the books quite obviously does not know the subject.
The story this time was slow to get into but then was enjoyable as always. With the two aforementioned criticisms. Let me do weapon related editing. As Amazon knows all they know I’m very well qualified.
Really!?!? Sound effects by mouth?
