First I have to comment on the narration. It is horrible. Ms. Cope did not do this book justice. It may have been easier to get through if another narrator performed. As it was, it was torture to get through this book. Then, the narrator sounded like she was in an echo chamber. I did finish this book but frankly, it was very difficult to do so. I tried to find something redeeming about this book but failed to do so. It was based on fantasy, which was fine. Yes, there was lots of sex - very explicit but that didn't bother me.

Narration is flat and pretentious. Sounds like she’s mocking the author. Don’t know if the story is any good, didn’t make it past the opening paragraph.

Yes, it was the same. I don't like her voice, it sounded odd to me. I couldn't get into the book
