I have listened and taken notes to this read, and I have a much better understanding of topic. I plan to use authors knowledge and recommendations to care for this pool in which I previously knew nothing about. Thank you!!

Great book - wish it was longer!
As a new pool owner, I've become very interested in pool chemistry, but there are surprisingly few audiobooks on the matter. Very happy to have found this one, and wish it was longer. The author goes through all aspects affecting pools including filter types and pool chemistry, pH, etc. I would have liked to understand why the recommendation for soda ash and not baking soda, and what baking soda can do to a filter (with it being the cheaper alternative), as well as more information on things like alkalinity, and how alkalinity needs to be adjusted with CYA levels for a proper reading. I didn't know much about TDS so was glad to learn about that as well, and overall very happy to have found this quick, informative read!

Very helpful overview of pool ownership!
Great reading style and very helpful broad overview. Some was still over my head a bit and I’ll have to slow down and re-listen for sure.
