About this listen
Parenting Without God is for parents who lack belief in a god and who are seeking guidance on raising free thinkers in a Christian-dominated nation. It will help parents give their children the tools to stand up to attempts at religious proselytization, whether by teachers, coaches, friends, or even other family members. It also offers advice on teaching children to question what others tell them and to reach their own conclusions based on evidence and reason. Above all, the book argues that parents should lead by example - both by speaking candidly about the importance of secularism and by living an openly secular life.

shrugs
It was not bad, but I really don't feel any better prepared. I like that the author provided a good amount of facts. Seemed most of the time was spent on disclaimers though.

Great book, but highly liberal.
I enjoyed this book very much. The only thing I didn't like was his highly liberal stand and American shame. America does have a shameful past but I don't think we should show disgust for this country just because some of us didn't choose to live here. Also, I don't think holding doors for women should be scoffed at. But I do agree with teaching kids to hold doors for anyone. Other than that, I enjoyed the tips and experiences he discusses. I feel more motivated to be an "out" atheist mom.

Future Parent Fantastic Book
As a near future parent. I've been an atheist for a while of course my dad bought me to Church at 17 in which I didn't like it at all. I couldn't understand any of the stuff that was taught it sounded so fake which it is and that's why I stopped going and fully embraced my Atheism and as of today in future for my kids I want to teach everything that's right I'm not the wrong things that's why this book is helping me out a lot one of the best reads I've had in years. it baffles me that how much religion has destroyed lives especially Children it's wrong. that's why Atheists we have to teach them the right stuff including Evolution, science, and tell them the truth about religion that's it's made up the right thing to teach them. I'm a socialist liberal Equal rights for Everyone including Those crazy believers as long they don't force anything but if they force it we as True Atheist fight back really hard against them.

Poor audio, entry level atheism
Really only relevant if it’s your first day as an atheist. Couldn’t find much advice for parenting.

Liberal bias
Why do so many books for atheist have such a heavy left lead? Gender is not a social construct. The expression of your gender may or may not be. Author of this book. Also buys in very heavily to white privilege.

Not good
Horrible audio. Author spends way too much time telling any atheist parent the obvious. Waste of money

Politically Motivated
I think this book was more about pandering to a liberal audience than offering any sound advice. I was much excited, but ended much disappointed.
