About this listen
One taste leaves them wanting more....
Ingredients:
Francisco “Frisco” Martinelli. Hot and spicy. Beautiful on the outside, dark and damaged on the inside. Handle with extreme caution.
Salvatore “Torre” Rossi. Sweet with a kick of spice. Gentle at first, can become swiftly and irrevocably addictive to the heart.
A recipe for romance:
One snobby food critic who doesn’t believe in love.
One down-to-earth food blogger who does.
Add a touch of suspicious brother.
A heaping serving of a best friend who’s been waiting for this to happen.
Blend with secret identities, past hurts, and judgments.
Stir in equal portions of desperate longing, desire, fear, and snarky humor.
Set over open flame, step back, and wait for sparks to fly.
Serve as is for an explosive love story that will leave you with a full heart and a ridiculously happy smile at the end.
This is the third book in the Lost in New York series but can be listened to as a stand-alone.

Presley is stuck in neutral and lonelier than ever. When his best friend suggests a support group to work through his grief, Presley agrees but without much hope; nothing has helped before. At the first meeting, he’s instantly attracted to Nate and struggles not to fall so far, so fast. Nate Sherman is only attending a support group to get his family off his back. True, he hasn’t slept through the night in over three years, but he has reasons. Discovering your father — the man you love and idolize — is a liar will do that. No wonder Nate has trust issues.

Garrett Steiner loves his grandmother. Really. But when she rents a billboard in the middle of Times Square hoping to find him a husband, he isn’t so sure anymore. Bad enough everyone at the “Crossroads of the World” thinks he’s a joke—now his face is plastered all over the news. He’s already in enough trouble with the principal of his school, who isn’t thrilled to have a gay teacher. It might be two dateless years since his divorce, but no way is he going to answer any of the thousand emails he’s received.

Amazing.
I loved this last installment in the Lost in New York series. Torre and Frisco are both amazing characters, and the "comedy of errors" with both of them keeping their identity secret is quite entertaining.
Frisco continual denial of his feelings and his inner talks with the devil on his shoulder, is a touch of genius.
As an Italian, of course I loved Torre and his family!

Phenomenal!!
Once again Felice Stevens knock it out of the ballpark!! This is the Story I did not know I needed! I loved Frisco and Torre so hard. Frisco has had a horrible upbringing and things from his past has made him into the man he is today, unfeeling! Torre was a wonderful foil for Frisco, he was sweet but strong. They fit like a glove, perfect for each other. I loved how Felice Stevens dug deep into Frisco’s back story so we could see why he turned out the way he was. Torre’s family had such an integral part of the story. Frisco did not know he needed them or what hit him. I loved how we got to see more of Presley and Nate, especially all the interactions with Presley. I especially loved the bonus chapter!! Kale Williams did an fantastic job with the narration, really made it come alive!!

Mamma Mia, I loved it!
Story 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆
Audio 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆
Storyline:
This story is third in Ms. Stevens Lost in New York series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I suggest enjoying all the books to help create a better feel for the main characters, especially Frisco. I was so thrilled that Frisco got his chance at love because I adored him in Fool for Love as Presley's loyal friend. Frisco is an elite food critic that does manage to have quite a few people disliking him quite intensely. Brutally honest almost to the point of cruelty, one of his reviews can destroy a restaurant or launch it to new heights.
Food blogger Torre Rossi is not a major fan of Frisco's reviews as he feels there is no need for such rudeness. Torre's blog inspires Frisco's publisher to have him try some lesser-known eateries to review. He ends up in an Italian restaurant called Mangia. Much to the crusty critics amazement the meal was absolute perfection. Not only was the food beyond delectable, so is the gorgeous waiter working there. Torre is helping his brother out that night while he is short-staffed. Sparks fly as the sauce simmers when these two meet. Neither knows each others true identity but they are attracted and can't deny their feelings. Frisco is scarred and doesn't do anything permanent. Torre is a family man and won't deal with one night stands. Yet somehow these men seem destined.
This book evoked so many memories for me especially with the amazing descriptions of the Italian food as I was weaned on this type of eating as a child. Frisco is a complex soul and the reader needs to delve deeper to get insight into this unique and guarded man that might be the missing ingredient in Torre's life. Thank you Felice for this amazing romance. Happy Reading!
Narration by Kale Williams:
I loved having Mr.Williams as the narrator for Never Say Never. Distinct and steadfast in this production , his voice of Frisco was just as I imagined him in the book, full of fire and ego. Kale was fantastic with how versatile he is with all the characters. I love Torre's voice and the scenes between the two men were magnetic and perfect! An absolute joy to listen to and I almost drooled on my Kindle listening to the food descriptions. I highly recommend this amazing audio story and I believe you will love it as much as I did. Happy Listening!

Did It Again
Once again Felice Stevens has left me feeling all the feels for the MCs. I laughed, teared up and had me sitting on the edge of my seat for what was to come. Ms. Stevens writes characters so real they pull you in and you become so invested in their HEA. I fell in love with Frisco and cried alongside him in difficult moments and felt joy when he came out on the other side. I loved Torre in his steadfast belief of Frisco
Kale Williams always brings a wonderful narration with strong changes in cadence to differentiate between characters. I enjoy listening to him. I would definitely recommend.

PAST HURTS CAN COLOR BUT NOT RULE THE PRESENT
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Salvatore (Torre) Rossi is a blogger for the city of New York and is a champion for the small businesses in the area. Francisco (Frisco) Martinelli is a vicious food critic with trust and love issues. His bitterness and displeasure with his problems and shortcomings bleed into his critiques of the upper-class restaurants that he critiques. A blazing, unflattering blog by Torre sets these two on a collision course that neither could have ever thought could happen. They hit it off, not really knowing who the other person really is.
Sparks fly, truths are revealed and their characters and beliefs are put to the test. A very well-written story of how enemies can become lovers.
The narration is good and the narrator portrays the emotions of the characters in his reading.

Delicious
I loved the background of the story. What's not to love about two men who hate each other on paper then meet. It makes it even more interesting because they don't know who the other one is. But even better than this fun idea there is a lot meat to the story. Frisco has a lot of things he has been dealing with over the years. Torre too can sometimes get moved along by circumstances. I was drawn in from the beginning.
I listened to the audio version and it was very well done. I also love getting the full bonus material included with it.

Love the story and narration
I absolutely love listening to Kale narrate stories and he did a fantastic job brining Frisco and Torre to life.
Five huge darn stars. I will start that these guys are now MINE, MINE, MINE.
This is the third book in the series and although a standalone, I recommend reading Fool for Love first as you get a taste for who Frisco is.
Frisco is cavier, sex god, gorgeous, could be snobby, and so much more. However he is also lost, confused, and lonely. The ones you should should be able to trust most in life are the ones who hurt him the most. He never wanted a relationship, nor love until it smacked him in the face.
Torre is passion, lust, hunger. He is total opposite of Frisco. When they meet, sparks fly and off they go. However, it’s not so smooth as you’d hope. They are opposites don’t forget and some misunderstanding happen.
With the help of friends and family, these two realize what they have in each other and it’s worth the heartache that they have gone through to get to where they are. They really do compliment each other even with their differences.
These two have now become my favorite Felice couple with Ross and Arden. I loved, loved, loved them. This is one of my top 2020 reads hands down and it’s only May.
