About this listen
It contains more than 40 basic words & expressions (e.g. numbers from 1 to 20, colours and days of the week), some finger mime exercise (Le Petit Pouce) and songs (Meunier tu dors, Frere Jacques and the French national anthem, La Marseillaise)
My First French Lessons contains 4 more themed lessons: Animals, Food, School and Body Parts.
The lessons encourage children to develop an interest in the French language and culture. They are designed to be fun, memorable, engaging, confidence-boosting and to build solid foundations for further study of the French language.
Ideally, you should leave some time between listening to each lesson. Lessons can be repeated as many times as you like. Children should be encouraged to mime along (finger mimes exercises) and to participate as much as possible in the lessons.

Story
Told from four-year-old Laura's point of view, this story begins in 1871 in a little log cabin on the edge of the Big Woods of Wisconsin. Laura lives in the little house with her pa, her ma, her sisters Mary and Carrie, and their trusty dog, Jack. Pioneer life is sometimes hard for the family, since they must grow or catch all their own food as they get ready for the cold winter. But it is also exciting as Laura and her family celebrate Christmas with homemade toys and treats, do the spring planting, bring in the harvest, and make their first trip into town.

excellent for adults wanting to learn as children
this is how we all learn to speak our first language, and this is how everybody should learn how to speak their second, third, fourth, and more! why spend time trying to read a language that you can't speak? You need to know how to ask, observe, understand, talk, etc in the language that you're trying to learn, so download this book, practice practice practice, and learn away!
