Story
What if Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy spoke honestly to each other in Kent and clarified any misconceptions prior to his making his proposal? What would happen if Mr. Bennet made an ill-fated attempt to resolve the issue of the entail only to create a much bigger problem for his family and Mrs. Bennet were even more of a shrew than in canon? What if Mr. Bennet had a secret reason to encourage the couple to marry quickly and before returning home? Will they ever be able to overcome the resentment that results from Mr. Bennet's manipulations or from Mrs. Bennet's subsequent behaviors?

Fitzwilliam Darcy has had enough—enough of the ton and their speculations, enough of matchmaking mamas and their eager daughters, and enough of his family’s expectations that he will eventually marry his cousin Anne. Craving solitude and peace after discovering his sister with George Wickham in Ramsgate, he accepts an invitation to visit Netherfield Park from his friend Charles Bingley and travels to Hertfordshire, where he hopes Georgiana will recover from her disappointment in relative privacy.

Story
Austen wrote, 'I am going to take a heroine whom no-one but myself will much like' and thus introduces the handsome, clever, rich - and flawed, Emma Woodhouse. Emma is perfectly content with her life and sees no need for either love or marriage; nothing however delights her more than matchmaking her fellow residents of Highbury. But when she ignores the warnings of her good friend Mr. Knightley and attempts to arrange a suitable match for her protegee Harriet Smith, her carefully laid plans soon unravel and have consequences that she never expected.

Story
Darcy and Elizabeth's first year of marriage commences as idyllic as most newlyweds could hope. But soon, their tranquility departs, and together they must discover the finer art of compromise and understanding. This sequel trilogy follows the lives of Austen's beloved characters throughout the years. Come witness a compelling look at the misunderstanding, resentment, and frustration that marriage imposes on two very compassionate, yet willful individuals, but also envision the vulnerability, laughter, and devotion of a husband and wife very much in love.

Left with no family and no money, Lucy goes against her own timid nature and travels to the small city of Villette, France, where she becomes a school teacher in Madame Beck’s school for girls. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. lotsa bedroom
It was chapter 5 that I realized there had been one scene not about "marital relations" or describing the detail of "marital relations." Perfect if that is what you were looking for, but I was wanting a character study/ drama and just couldn't bear more strong hands and heaving... well, you know. Not my cup of tea (give it a 1) but I'm sure some people it is fan-flippin-tastic (give it a 5).

Amazing story of real love
Would you consider the audio edition of Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One to be better than the print version?
I think that the audio edition of this book gives more depth to the book. The characters truly come to life and you can hear the adoration, sarcasm, and humor in every sentence.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I believe that my favorite character will always be Fitzwilliam Darcy. He proves that all men have many layers to their lives. They must be able to be strong when most needed but also to be soft and gentle when occasion requires.
Have you listened to any of Corrie James’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've never listened to any of Corrie James's performances before so I don't have anything to compare it to.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have read this series a few times in paperback and I loved it then but it truly comes to life in the audio edition.

This is a lovely peaceful quiet book to enjoy
But not particularly an exciting or fast paced one. The pacing at times is quite slow, b but the narrator's voice is pleasant, encouraging a lovely, restful reading time.

Good Story ,Physicak Explicite Intamacy Weakens I
I had to skip a lot because, constant description,
physical intimacy ,was embarrassing.Very highly
offensive .Being , the reference,to relations or
love making or just holding each other.Going into
detail physical, experiences one is experiencing.
is not necessarily..IEnduring loving statements..
truly suffice.
This is the sad ,part mostthe story was
over shadowed by physical lustf!
I wish the terms used would be more ,appropriate
for that time. That would affect hopefully for this
time .If they were not married ,i would have stopped it.

The narrater of this book was hideous.
If you could sum up Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One in three words, what would they be?
Way over done
What do you think your next listen will be?
Three Sisters and Three Queens
What didn’t you like about Corrie James’s performance?
Just the way she talked was terrible. I couldn't listen to it any more. I want my credit back.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No
Any additional comments?

Bad technical issues.
Would you try another book from Sharon Lathan and/or Corrie James?
Only if the technical problems are fixed. This book is not playing. The "intro" by the author is good; however, the actual book recording is not working at all!
What could Sharon Lathan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Maybe ... make it "audible"!
How could the performance have been better?
Maybe ... make it "audible"!
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One?
n/a
Any additional comments?
Please fix the technical issues and I'll listen then will redo my comments. Please let me know what I can do. If it gets fixed, very good! Not fixed, I'll return this book w/o being able to listen to it.
