About this listen

MEMORIES BECOME THE MOST DANGEROUS WEAPON WHEN YOU CAN'T TRUST YOUR OWN.

Willow Harper has been charged with the brutal murder of her friends. But confined to Bordeaux Behavioral Hospital with no recollection of that tragic night, she is left questioning her own innocence.

Public defender Donovan Thomas takes on her case, determined to get to the truth. But Willow's convenient amnesia raises more questions than answers. Why can't she recall any details? And why does it seem like she's hiding something? But to comprehend Willow's unstable grip on reality means confronting the cracks in his own past.

Weaving between Willow’s fractured recollections and the gaps in his own memory, Donovan enters a battle to distinguish guilt from innocence when the line between memory and manipulation begin to blur.

In this nail-biting psychological thriller, only by facing your most terrifying memories can you survive when someone tries to rewrite your reality.

You will be invested from the beginning wondering, "What in the world just happened, and why?" This was a very good read with an unexpected twist. I really enjoy the way Toni Larue writes from the perspective of both the suspects and detectives in her books. I also like the fact that her plots typically have an ongoing investigation. I will continue to read books from this author. I grew up watching Whodunnits.

Her titles are always good!
