In this eye-opening account, Cal Newport debunks the long-held belief that "follow your passion" is good advice. Not only is the cliché flawed - preexisting passions are rare and have little to do with how most people end up loving their work - but it can also be dangerous, leading to anxiety and chronic job hopping. After making his case against passion, Newport sets out on a quest to discover the reality of how people end up loving what they do.

To his astonishment, Bullet Journaling is now a global movement. The Bullet Journal Method is about much more than organizing your notes and to-do lists. Very good short, concise, and actionable steps
The easy to follow steps are great. This book did not give a measly overview but an in depth look into how to use Evernote which was most important to me. This book is something I can refer to and use immediately. I listened to it via audible. Great teacher. I'm now a new fan of S.J. Scott.

Excellent book on Evernote. I highly recommend it
I was already an Evernote user when I picked up this book. I thought I knew most of what I needed to know but I am amazed at how much I learned. I bought both the Kindle and Audible versions. The explanations are simple, easy to use right away.
This book helped me increase my productivity tremendously.
I recommend it to everyone interested in putting order in his/her life. I bought it as a gift for my sister and will buy it for my daughter so she can learn good organizing habits at an early age

Not worth it if you're already using Evernote
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The book spent way too much time covering the basics of Evernote. It felt like a collection of blog posts.
I was hoping for expert advice on using Evernote based on extensive first hand experience. There was some of that, but not enough to justify putting "master" in the title.
Would you recommend Master Evernote to your friends? Why or why not?
No. If you're generally familiar with Evernote already or you've used other apps like Gmail that use tags/labels, more than half of the content in this book is going to be wasted on you. People who are totally new to Evernote and need a guided tour through things like the "New Note" button, then this could be useful.
Have you listened to any of Greg Zarcone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No.
Any additional comments?
The sections on using Evernote for Getting Things Done (GTD) were useful. I would have preferred much more on that topic.

Very dense overview of the reason on Evernotes
What did you love best about Master Evernote?
This is a 'quick' how to understand the concepts and different ways to use Evernote. It goes very quickly into the specifics of how to use each part of the program, that fundamentally works like most programs these days (copy, filter/search, click on the icons....). What this couple hour book excels in is running through a quick list of ideas of how to use Evernote to organize your world. Almost a brainstorm with a little flushing out of the many ways the program/system can be used to be more effective.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I appreciate that it spends a fair amount of time referencing and integrating the concepts of Getting Things Done (GTD) by David Allen with this set of tools.
