About this listen
Read by the author.
How do you stand firm in your convictions in a world that's trying to pull you down? Madison Prewett helps you keep your standards high and your roots deep in this strikingly personal look at why you were made for this moment.
When Madison Prewett competed on season 24 of The Bachelor, she was able to maintain her convictions not just because she was strong in the moment of pressure but because she was strong in the moments of preparation. In Made for This Moment, Madison examines how the biblical story of Esther will prepare you to:
- Discover how to predecide who you want to be before you step into your Big Moments.
- Claim your confidence so you can get out of the comparison game.
- Learn strategies for dealing with your past so it won't hinder your present.
- Break free from the labels others put on you.
- Learn how to respond to offense with grit and grace.
- Discover how to be yourself whether anyone is looking or not.
Made for This Moment will appeal to fans of Sadie Robertson, Jordan Lee Dooley, and Annie F. Downs, as well as to Madison's faithful following from her remarkable Bachelor season. People who are eager to make wise choices in dating, career, and family will love Madison's authentic voice and real-life challenges, making this a great gift for graduations, birthdays, or life transitions.
Made for This Moment will help you navigate the complex realities of living in an age of social media and confusing standards. God's timing is not a mistake - you were made for such a time as this.

Story
Is there something wrong with me? How many more wrong ones until the right one? Am I hard to love? Madison Prewett Troutt knows what it’s like to ask these questions in the middle of the night—to doubt and worry about never finding the love so desperately hoped for. But Madi has discovered a deeper truth now, that the love we’re searching for is already ours. In The Love Everybody Wants, Madi sets aside the shallow messages our culture shouts every day to help us hear God’s beautiful whisper: I have loved you with an everlasting love. And nothing will ever change that.

You are meant to be in relationships that bring joy and connection—that help you know soul-deep peace and leave you feeling loved instead of lonely. Instead, surface-level friendships, filtered social media feeds, unresolved conflicts, and unhealthy relationships can often seem to harm our self-worth, spiritual growth, and mental health—and keep us from the very relationships that could bring that true connection.

Story
Suddenly in the spotlight, 24-year-old Hannah Brown realized that she wasn’t sure what she wanted. After years of competing in beauty pageants, and then starring on The Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars, she had become incredibly visible. There she was, in her early twenties, with millions around the world examining and weighing in on her every decision. She found herself wondering what it would mean to live on her terms. What it would mean to stop seeking approval from others and decide - for the first time - what it was she wanted from her own life.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty tired of the struggle. You know which one I mean - fear, loneliness, not knowing who I am or what I’m meant to do.... Sound familiar? I struggled with insecurity, comparison, and isolation for too many years, from thigh gaps to eyebrows to the lifestyles I felt I had to live up to. I was so afraid of being "found out", that everyone in my life would somehow figure out that I was fearful and small and that I struggled to make my faith a reality and to be secure in who I am.

I liked this more than I thought I would
I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Madi touches on her time on the Bachelor and what it taught her but that isn’t what this book is about. This had a lot of great advice and ways of framing things in terms of faith and moving forward with your life, and how to prepare yourself to live according to your convictions. I thought it was very genuine and a great read for Christian women in their teens or early adulthood.

A must read!!
WOW!! My husband bought this book for me and it is life changing. There is something so beautiful when we unmask ourselves. Madi has such a beautiful Jesus perspective and authenticity about herself that is inspiring. I didn’t know how much I needed to hear everything she said. The Lord knew what so many women need to hear, be convicted of and turn to Him. Madi, thank you for saying yes to Him and walking in obedience. Something so beautiful happens that is a ripple effect when we say yes to His plan for our lives.

Wise Beyond Her Years
Madi is a gifted writer. At such a young age, she has the ability to inspire and encourage women of all ages. I especially enjoyed the fact that Madi narrated the book herself. She shared real life experiences... the ups and downs. She exposed imperfections and shared how grace has covered it all. I felt a connection throughout the whole book. I admire the strength she exhibits and recommend this book for all women. You will be uplifted and encouraged!

A Blessing I didn’t know I needed
What spirit-filled woman Madi is! I found this book so full of very relatable moments and truth. I also found myself humbled by her words over and over again. Living in todays world with all the pressures of society and stigmas, Madi reminds readers what it genuinely looks like to walk in God’s truth and grace. I recommend for every woman looking for some inspiration to be bold in faith.
