About this listen

A vampire bit me while we were making out. Now, I'm being forced to marry him.

Okay, not forced.

I just don't have any other options.

My family is being targeted by a dangerous wolf pack, so we turned to our king for help. But he happens to be the guy I kissed.

He agrees to keep us safe—for the small price of my hand in marriage. Or mating.

Whatever you want to call it, he demands my future.

The alternative is embracing a group of cruel wolf shifters, so I put my hand in his and say the magical equivalent of, "I do."

I'm giving up my freedom for the safety of my family…but I won't fall in love with him.

Not even maybe.

Because mating sucks, but love?

It bites.

*This is a spicy enemies-to-lovers romance with a happily ever after.

Love Damien + Blair

Another fun and beautiful story by Lola. Vampires, sirens and other creatures make this such an awesome read. Lola has such a way with words and the stories she weaves are so addictive. Always love reading Lola's books.

Love it!

Blaire and Damian.

Loved it! The narrators did a good job.

Blaire is a siren who at a supernatural club meets Damian who is a vampire he lets her feed on him and he ends up biting her and finds out she is his blood mate. Blaire and her sisters are on the run as a leader of a wolf pack wants to claim one of her sisters. At one point Damian is looking for her and she ends up at his compound seeking refuge for her sisters from the wolves. Damian tries to convince her to be his mate. I found this to be cute, funny and hot. I love how Blaire is feisty and mouthy and won't cave to Damian no matter that he is a vampire king and everyone else bows to him. Love how protective Damian is to not only his clan but others to especially Blaire and also how possessive he is💖💖💖🔥🔥🔥😍.
I look forward to Clementine's story I heard a preview at the end of this book and Blair's other sisters stories.

Wonderful

This is a wonderful story. I enjoyed meeting all the characters. The idea of sirens is never high on my list of paranormals but I am a huge fan of Vampires/wolves so I gave this a go. I was surprised at the storyline and thrilled with the outcome. We meet many characters between the three factions. Some I liked and others I was suspicious of. I feel we will get more on them as the stories progress. I liked the pace and the speed of the story. The narration is done by lauren Barrie and Lucas Dixon. Both are new to me and did a great job. I enjoyed listening to them both.

Great performance

Listening to this audiobook made my chores a whole lot more fun. This was a great performance of a good book. I enjoyed the forced proximity in the Siren/Vampire relationship.

I received a gifted copy. This review is honest and voluntary.

Short and choppy

I don’t think this audiobook was worth the money charged. The voice actors were okay. A few mispronounced words, odd pacing and accents. And a couple of places where the audio volume levels were off but nothing horrible. The problem was the source material. The book itself was not good. Too short and choppy with not enough thought or detail put into the world building. The author chose to just throw out world facts to the reader and the pacing was just too rushed. I think the story premise had potential but the authors execution wasn’t good and since it was more like novella length I didn’t feel like the price was worth it.
