NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • She thrives in chaos. He prefers routine. The only thing they have in common? How much they hate each other.
From the bestselling author of Done and Dusted and Swift and Saddled, the highly anticipated next book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, a small-town romance in which enemies turn to lovers when they’re forced to work together during one hot summer
“Another deliciously addictive romance . . . as sizzling as it is emotional and vulnerable.”—Elena Armas, New York Times bestselling author of The Spanish Love Deception
AN ELLE BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR
Teddy Andersen doesn’t have a plan. She’s never needed one before. She’s always been more of a go-with-the-flow type of girl, but for some reason, the flow doesn’t seem to be going her way this time.
Her favorite vintage suede jacket has a hole in it, her sewing machine is broken, and her best friend just got engaged. Suddenly, everything feels like it’s starting to change. Teddy is used to being a leader, but now she feels like she’s getting left behind, wondering if life in the small town she loves is enough for her anymore.
Gus Ryder has a lot on his plate. He doesn’t know what’s harder: taking care of his family’s 8,000 acre ranch, or parenting his spunky six-year-old daughter, who is staying with him for the summer. Gus has always been the dependable one, but when his workload starts to overwhelm him, he has to admit that he can’t manage everything on his own. He needs help.
His little sister’s best friend, the woman he can’t stand, is not who he had in mind. But when no one else can step in, Teddy’s the only option he’s got. Teddy decides to use the summer to try and figure out what she wants out of life. Gus, on the other hand, starts to worry that he’ll never find what he needs.
Tempers flare, tension builds, and for the first time ever, Gus and Teddy start to see each other in a different light. As new feelings start to simmer below the surface, they must decide whether they should act on them. Can they keep things cool? Or will both of them get burned?

Critic reviews
“Lost and Lassoed has everything I’ve come to expect from a Lyla Sage novel; delicious tension, heartwarming vulnerability, characters you can’t help but root for, and more simmering heat than a Rebel Blue summer sun. Teddy and Gus are what off-limits, opposites-attract romance dreams are made of. Readers will be alternately clutching their pearls and their tissues. Lyla Sage once again pours her heart lovingly into each page on another delightful trip to Rebel Blue.”—B.K. Borison, author of Lovelight Farms
“Teddy and Gus are spicy, sizzling, enemies-to-lovers perfection! I loved every moment of their feisty banter, their steamy sexual tension, and their touching emotional journey as they found home in each other’s hearts.”—Chloe Liese, USA Today bestselling author of the Bergman Brothers series
“I rarely read books in one sitting, but you’d have had to pry Lost & Lassoed from my cold dead hands to get me to put it down. Lyla Sage delivers another scalding hot romance; this one is also a tender rumination on fathers and daughters, and the love that makes a family. Lost & Lassoed burrowed deep into my heart, and I know it’s going to stay there for a good long time.”—Kate Stayman-London, bestselling author of One to Watch

And let’s talk about the audiobook, phenomenal! The narrator brought every smirk, every heated glance, every vulnerable moment to life in a way that made me feel like I was right there in the story. If you’ve been craving a small town romance with heat, humor, and heart, this one is a must-read. I’m already ready for a reread!

I really enjoyed being back in Meadowlark on the Rebel Blue Ranch. The banter that Gus and Teddy have had through this whole series has be hilarious. The progression of their relationship was just perfect, from being enemies, to friends to lovers. Them getting to know the real them deep down, and realizing they are just what they need for each other. While I really loved Gus and Teddy, my favorite character was Riley, just her way of making everyone happy, her spunk and sunshine personality. I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into the other family members (previous books) and how they are doing. The family and friendship bonds is just perfection.
This is book three of the Rebel Blue Ranch Series. This story had some of my favorite tropes…best friends brother, grumpy/sunshine, single parent, small town. I just couldn’t get enough. I can’t wait to start Cam’s story and visit Rebel Blue again. I would totally recommend this series.
