About this listen
Being raised by wolves wasn't a nightmare. It was practice.
In this fast-paced Western, a gunslinger with a savage past reluctantly teams up with a young orphan girl to avenge the murder of the padre who saved them both.
As Lobo hunts the seven killers, he will uncover long-buried secrets, help a good woman in a bad situation, and maybe even do something a surly loner like Lobo wouldn't have thought possible… fall in love.
Lobo is a classic Western with a touch of romance, perfect for fans of C.J. Petit and R.O. Lane.

Story
When Will Bentley was nine years old, he promised his dying father that he would take care of the family. Growing up quickly, Will provided whatever his mother and sister needed, whether that meant putting food on the table, fixing a leaky roof, or driving off troublemakers. This became more than Will's duty. It became his identity. Then war took him away. Now, Will's coming home to Texas. Caring for his family and the intriguing young woman next door will be a tall order. The economy is dead, corrupt bluebellies are on the prowl, and old enemies want Will's land, his women, and his life.

Story
Captain Stan Murray was finally being mustered out of the army after all of the administrative snafus that had left him in Montana Territory long after the conclusion of the War Between the States. As he began his long journey, he wasn’t going home to Michigan. He had to cross hundreds of miles of hostile Indian Territory to reach Cheyenne City in Wyoming Territory to try and find the girl that he hadn’t seen in almost ten years. She was probably married and had three children by now, but he knew he had to at least know.

Story
As he wrote Horace Kirby’s will, James Spencer understood how unusual and difficult it would be to ensure that his client’s wishes were met. The wealthy life-long bachelor’s only sister had died eight years earlier. Before her husband had died, he’d left her with a daughter who was now almost seventeen years old. The girl couldn’t inherit until she reached eighteen and the precautions that Horace had included would prevent anyone from taking advantage of her until she came of age.

Story
After clearing up an almost comedic issue in Dodge City, Cy received an assignment to go to the town of Granite in New Mexico Territory to investigate a claim of massive overcharging by the telegraphers. It wasn’t a particularly challenging issue, but it would mean a long ride and Cy actually looked forward to it. He was still in a good mood as he rode out of Dodge City and eventually Kansas. He didn’t expect to spend much time in Granite and hoped that his next job would be a little more exciting. He’d had a few that reached that level but doubted that this one would be even difficult.

United States Marshal War Adams stared at the telegram in disbelief. His father had been murdered? As difficult as it was to come to grips with the news, it would become more disturbing when he discovered that the person arrested for the crime was the nurse that his father had hired to ease his suffering from his killing disease. Her position gave her both the means and opportunity to commit the crime, and he knew that the nurse was the same woman whose husband he had shot and killed years earlier, giving her the motive.

He should have been crushed by his desperation, but it was his anger and hate that drove him. He would use the one skill he had learned in those empty years that he now left behind him. He would enter the world of bareknuckle fighting and have to face older, stronger men to make his way in this hard world. He may be nothing, but he wasn’t going to go down without a fight.

The conductor had his travel bag in his hand and Toby looked at the shadowy, unlit buildings as he was led down the street. Good all the way around
The narrator brought a well written story to life. The characters were deep enough to draw you in but still left things to be explained as the story unfolded. Even the far fetched idea of a man raised by wolves works as part of the story. Listening the book two now.

Lobo
This is an amazing book. This is one of my favorite storylines. Revenge hunting, bounty hunting. Lobo is after seven outlaws that killed the priest. The guy that raised him. If you took the wolf part out of it then it would have a Jess Williams feel to it. I enjoyed this book very much and will continue to book two. A.T. Chandler does an excellent job narrating this book. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

The twist and turns and the story line.
Keep writing and the narrator did a nice job reading. The action through out the book kept me in substance , I will read LOBO 2, to see if chases down the man that Lobo is looking for,👍👍👍!!

Jack reacher + the Wild West
While nothing unique as this is basically your standard Wild West sole hero wanderer tale but since that’s what I’m looking for it’s great as it is a good story with a decent narrator to boot.
While the origin was a bit weird for my taste the more it’s gets developed it actually kinda grows on you even if it still feels out of tone.
Overall if you’re looking for a “jack-reacher/john wick” Wild West story then this is your book.

Excellent story and reading
John Deacon’s Lobo series is his best yet and A.T. Chandler brings the first book to life.

Exciting western!
Another great adventure by John Deacon! This one kept me up way too late listening. Had to take breaks for food, sleep and work! Looking forward to the 2nd book!

No trashy verbiage,
Author maintained my interest with the action in the story. It is wonderful that an author can tell a story without all vulgar language so many authors have to express in their characters.
