Adult ADHD explained
Listening to this audiobook made things so much clearer for me. Now I understand why my husband does many of the things he does. I never really made the connection between his ADHD diagnosis and some of his behaviors in our daily life. This book shut a light on it for me.

Relatable. Supportive. Helpful Strategies.
I really love how Living with and Understanding Adult ADHD actually gives you tools that make sense for the way my brain works. I really appreciate how it breaks down routines and makes me feel supported. This book is great for anyone feeling down on themselves because they can't follow through and gives alternate ways to accomplishing your goals. The section about overcoming procrastination was especially helpful for me because I tend to get excited about projects and then completely lose momentum. The chapter about negative self-talk was great and I think would relate to a lot of ADHD-ers. This book actually gives you steps to replace negative thoughts with better habits. Overall the author made me feel seen and understood so I'd recommend it.

I’ve read a lot about ADHD, but this put things into perspective in a way I hadn’t considered before. Instead of just telling me what I should do, it explained why my brain works the way it does and how I can adapt my life to fit it. Lots of helpful tips
This audio book is a great resource for adults who have ADHD. I really enjoyed all the different examples of people’s experiences with ADHD. It showed that ADHD presents itself in everyone a little differently so it was good to showcase all the possibilities and see what I related to and what I didn’t. I enjoyed learning about the pomodoro technique about time management, can’t wait to implement that one into my life! “Brain dumps” is another fun technique mentioned that will help you organize your thoughts and tasks that seems like it could really benefit my life as well. Really this book is full of helpful tips and tricks to make life easier, more organized and more functional.
