About this listen
A Spanking Romance Comedy
Kelly and Preston Collins have not seen each other for five months, and not due to a conventional separation. No, Kelly had simply left without a word to her husband, then refused to communicate with him after that, leaving him confused and hurt.
But to his surprise, he receives a call from Kelly, asking him to accompany her on a journey along the Little Fork River in Idaho. She has been assigned to do a documentary on the ecosystem of that river, and does not want to take the rugged hike alone.
With reluctance, Preston agrees, but explains that he was scheduled to spend some time with his younger brother who had just been released from a major-league baseball contract.
So now it will be three taking the adventuresome walk through the Idaho wilderness. It is awkward and uncomfortable, but they make the best of the situation.
But then, along the way, Preston’s brother Jack receives word that he has been offered a contract with a minor league team, and will need to make his way to the airport in Boise with the assistance of local authorities.
Now Kelly and Preston are left alone with their unanswered questions, only for Preston to find out that their separation was due to a major misunderstanding and assumption on Kelly’s part.
Full of remorse, Kelly knows that she must somehow express her regrets in a genuine way. And when Preston suggests a rather old-fashioned manner in which her unfair behavior should be addressed, they find that they benefit in more than one way.
