Some good nuggets but feels sales-y
I appreciate the simplicity of the author’s advice to encourage a healthy lifestyle but there are far too many bunny trail stories that begin to feel like you are listening to a 30+ minute informercial. I would have loved to hear more of the author’s life experiences and less of her random clients’ stories. It is quite genius marketing as the author is tying in her liquid vitamins with a lifestyle overhaul of morning fasting. I had high hopes but the book overall felt sale-sy and I wish it had been deeper and more authentic.

Maybe for a select audience- Type A
I started out super enthusiastic about this book but by the end, I was so annoyed by the control control control tendencies that I had a hard time finishing it. There was some good and helpful information but the writer comes across like a type A perfectionist who will lose her sanity without control over every little aspect of her life. Her tendencies serve her well (according to her) but I don’t know how well they truly translate to the general population. I also felt the example stories throughout depersonalized and took away from the information as they were used to glorify the writer’s program.
