About this listen

In a breakaway territory ruled by the genetically engineered elite, a towering structure called the Loop erases those who enter—no remains, no return.

Journalist Bennett Stillman’s daughter may soon face that fate, unless he can secure life-saving biotech. But has he put his trust in the wrong hands?

Caught between the Loop’s powerful corporate regime and its radical opposition, Bennett is drawn deeper into a resistance he barely understands, glimpsing something far darker beneath the system’s sleek machinery.

Meanwhile, biologist Calvin Colbeck uncovers secrets about the alien force behind the Loop that could shatter the corporation’s control. And Adelaide Douglas, a rising administrator within the cult-like corporation, begins to question the system from within.

As tensions rise and unsettling forces stir below the surface, Bennett must decide who he can trust—before the Loop takes more than he’s willing to give.

A suspenseful sci-fi thriller exploring alien mystery, cyborg tech, and the terrifying power of belief.

Contains: Mature themes, sparse strong language, no explicit romance.

This was a great book. I’m pretty fussy about my narrators and I actually enjoyed this narrator a lot. There is a lot going on in a good way. Characters finding themselves in moral decisions based on there own needs. Great character development and I can’t wait for book 2. I also love supporting women writers in this genre if they are good, and she is good.

Thought provoking and very entertaining.
