About this listen
Do you believe in ghosts or the supernatural? Who would you ask if you'd encountered something inexplicable? First-century Roman lawyer, magistrate, and author Gaius Plinius Caecilius Secundus, historically remembered as Pliny the Younger, wrote to his mentor about manifestations, incarnations, prognostications, and a strange happening within his own household. With what wisdom would you reply to such an epistle?

Some things are eternal.
Even two thousand years ago, people are still people. Here, Pliny the Younger asks a friend for their opinion on ghosts and shares his own experiences with them. It's interesting to see the similarities and differences between then and now.
