I really enjoyed the stories. There was an interesting mixture of fantasy and horror/thriller. My favorite stories were the ones about the drenched woman and the ones about the mysterious lights. Both had a great air of mystery and intrigue to them and also offered some wonderful moral commentary.

Downloaded for my son, who is 12 years old. He loved these short stories. His favorites were Scourge and Misfortune. I liked Illiad the best. The narrator was alright. She had a nice voice and audio was ok.
I have read Forsaken Wastes books 1 and 2 by this author as eBooks, which I absolutely loved. Still waiting for the third book. These shorts were very different, but still enjoyed them.

My son loved these!
