Excellent for Public and Private Sector Contracts folks
Entertaining, informative, and engaging! I was lucky enough to hear Jonathan speak at an agency conference when Agile government contracts were in their infancy. Jonathan was the proverbial agile evangelist, and he commanded the attention of his audience, myself included. I followed him on LinkedIn and quickly found his “Agile Acquisitions and Alcohol” YouTube show. From there I was a believer, testing out the concepts on both IT and non-IT contracts alike. I ended up with a leg-up on those COs who hadn’t yet been required to obtain a DITAP certification, which is earned through a USDS-created program (of which Jonathan is a proud papa). It’s easy to relate to Jonathan’s thoughts and the natural progression of the book takes you through both the perspective of the government contract professional as well as through the eyes of industry (in particular startups and small businesses). Full of sage advice, the ambitious and entrepreneurial contracting professional will find in Jonathan’s book a valuable story written by a kindred spirit.
