oh how I love Claudy's books on audio!
If you could sum up Lady X in three words, what would they be?
Paranormal Time-travel fun (oh wait.. that's 4.. close enough)
What other book might you compare Lady X to and why?
Perhaps Claudy's Through-Time series, but really just due to the time travel element.

Magical!!
What did you love best about Lady X?
I am an avid Claudy Conn reader and I love all her heroines. They are strong independent women.

I loved all the different elements of the story. There were witches and time travel and surprises. Very magical story.

Yes, and she didn't disappoint narrating this book. She was perfect for the story.

Lady X is a great read of time travels, witches, love, lust and.... surprises! With lots of giggles. Mary did a great job at narrator. she expressed herself. greatly when the time called for it. she got right in character.

This is a review of the audio…the narration was excellent and kept my attention throughout. If paranormal time travel romance is one of your favorite genres, then Lady X by Claudy Conn is for you. This book grabbed my attention from the beginning. Lady X (Exerilla) is a white witch who has to travel back in time to get away from her father and his questionable choice of a husband for her. She then meets an array of interesting characters. Some of which are cool and others that are not. Lady X then meets Lord Hunter. I liked how these two characters interacted and became very likeable to the reader. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it and know you won't be disappointed reading it.

excellent story
I really enjoyed this one. I likm forward to reading again. I loved the story and the authors writing style and the narration.

What a mess!
Wow, I guess I am in minority here with my review of this book. Because I thought this story was a mess. The concept of the story was good, a white witch who goes back in time to the year 1815 from present day. However, the story line and plot were all over the place, none of it flowed well together at all. Lacked any cohesiveness and jumped around too much. Nonsensical is a good word to describe the way this story was written. I felt like I was listening\reading someone's random thought process and said I will make a book out of this.
SIGH....
The connection between the h/h was so strange and forced, not at all authentic or sincere. The dialogue was lacking as well. The ending was just strange.
I think the story is more about the hero, Hunter MacTorry's revenge\story than the heroine, Exerilla. It was just all very strange.
And how many villains can you have in one book? There were quite a few in this one.
I almost didn't finish it. Glad it was free on amazon and 1.99 on audible.
As for the narration. Not so good. I didn't care for the voices she gave the characters. This was not an easy book to just listen to. It was hard to discern who was who when she was reading, Besides the fact, there were so many characters it didn't help. This book only had 228 pages and has at least 12 characters.
