About this listen
Members of the Midtown Book Club are found murdered.
It is just the beginning of a series of deaths that lead Walt and Ox into the twisted world of a serial killer. In the late 1960's, the Zodiac Killer claimed to have killed 37 people and was never caught - the perfect crime.
Oscar Roach, dreamed of being the next serial killer to commit the perfect crime. He left a calling card with each of his victims - a mystery novel, resting in their blood-soaked hands.
The media dubbed him "The Librarian". Walt and the Kansas City Police are baffled by the cunning of this vicious killer and fear that he has indeed committed the perfect crime. Or did he?
Walt and his wacky senior cohorts prove, once again, that life goes on in spite of the carnage around them.
The perfect blend of murder, mayhem, and merriment.

Great book, great series!
I have listened to several books in this series and really enjoy them. This particular book was really good, but I wasn't fond of the turkey processing portion of the book. (I don't want to associate any food processing with what I eat). I loved the fact that Ox was getting married in this book. The narrator does such a great job with his performance of the various characters and voices, and is consistent in the series. The author is so witty and I love his humor. This book is a standalone listen, and part of a series. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and or publisher.

Another adventure with Walt & the gang!
I'm a big fan of this series, and as always I recommend starting at book 1 if you are new here, because I think it will enrich the experience greatly!
Each book has a theme or crime which is highlighted and we get to see it from both angles. We see the side of Justice as they try to catch the criminal & we see the inner monologue of the criminal themselves which is an enjoyable twist. It's more of a "how will they catch him" vs a true whodunnit, but Robert Thornhill executes this perfectly!
All the characters we know & love make an appearance in this book, with a few surprises along the way. Another home run!

Lady justice is awsome
I love these stories. This one was great. I took me only two days to finish it, I couldn't stop listening. the only complaint I have is it doesn't tell you who won the president's race from the book before. other than that it was great.

Loved it!
The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review.
Lady Justice and the Book Club Murders is a book about a clever serial killer that poses his victims and leaves a different book at each crime scene to taunt the police. Each book provides the police with clues about the murders and hints about murders yet to come.
Walt Williams and his partner, Ox, work to solve the mystery and find out who the killer is and do so with their usual comedic flair. The author did a great job peppering the book with enough information about various serial killers to make the mystery interesting, while still keeping the witty banter between the characters to make it a lighthearted read.
The narrator, George Kuch, as usual, did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. At one point, there's a noticeable change in his voice. Almost as though perhaps he wasn't feeling well or something. It was noticeable because it's never happened in any of the other books. His voice just seemed flat, like his heart just really wasn't into reading just then. Other than that, it was a great performance as always. And even that one spot didn't last very long.

Lady Justice and the Book Club Murders
: Robert Thornhill
Walt and Ox are on the hunt for a serial killer called "The Librarian." All the supporting characters return in this next installment of Lady Justice series. The mystery, suspense, humor and romance will keep the listener fully engaged wanting to finish in one go. I've listened to this three times and it gets better and better.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch is absolutely perfect for this series. I love listening to Lady Justice.

Book 10 and they just keep getting better!
Robert Thornhill just keeps getting better and better. George Kuch does a great job once again of narrating this book. I have often thought of joining a book club but after listening to this story I might rethink that. Just kidding but this book does have murders surrounding books and a book club. Can't wait to listen to book 11 in the series.
