Its fine
This is a short murder mystery with Detective Keanu Savong in a team of four investigating the cannibalistic murders of Black victims. The book did a good job managing its short time establishing the team's rapport and keeping the story going since this is more of a crime story than a romance. The romance is more of an future promise and is built with Keanu's concern for Kennedy's mental and physical welfare, so dont expect any spice. My biggest issue with this story was that the pronouns are switched a lot in this book. It was annoying! I wasnt sure if it was the virtual voice glitching in the audiobook or if it's something happening in the actual book.

Short and Easy Read
Not a fan of the virtual voice. I understand the time and funds that it takes to produce an audiobook, but the virtual voice seemed so flat, and no infection nor personality behind the words.
