An interesting take on Kalidasa
Most relevant to me is that Kalidasa sees rivers and mountains as having their own consciousness, calling to mind Chinese Buddhist and later Dogen’s concept of Buddha nature, and of course 4th CE Vasubandhu’s Yogācāra.
4 stars because it sounds very hindutva.
