About this listen

Primarchs Book 8.

For long years, the White Scars have fought for the Imperium, bringing worlds to compliance. But when a new project, to embed psykers in the Space Marine Legions, seems likely to come to fruition, Jaghatai Khan must decide if he will comply....

Listen to it because Chris Wraight returns to the Khan of Khans with a tale set at the height of the Great Crusade and showing the momentous decisions that, in some ways, led to the darkest events of the Horus Heresy.

The Khagen reigns supreme!

Great book! A very uplifting performance from the voice cast, the writing though is where this book shines. The author gives a primarch that has had little to no backstory a amazing bit of fleshing out. Jaghatai Khan is amazing in the hands of Chris Wraight. He exudes confidence and pure leadership. His men follow because he is everything they dream of. The Warhawk the spirit of Chogoris maybe the deadliest primarch of all.

Outstanding!

As usual, Chris Wraight brings the White Scars to vivid life. You know a Heresy book is great when you want to collect a new Legion by the end of it. Not sure how long I can resist painting up an army of the Ordu thanks to Mr. Wraight's incomparable work.

Enjoyable, wish there was more primarch talking

I did enjoy this book but honestly I was hoping for more interaction between the brothers especially Jaghatai and Horus, but it was still enjoyable

Great story of an overlooked Primarch

The story was well paced, from front to back. I hope to learn more from this dimple yet complicated man.

Best of the Primarch novels

I think I have listened to this book more times than any other book in my life. A excellent story fit for an excellent Primarch.

The narrator put in a fantastic performance.
The story was good, but bogged down in some places.

Great book but meh voice actor.

This book paint a good picture of Jaghatai and the view on psykers in the 30k setting. However the voice acting could do some work. I feel it did not truly convey the Khans personality.

Faster than thought

A very good insight into the origins of The White Scar combat doctrine and the Warhawk’s independent nature.

Great Book on Jaghatai

I like this book, the slow start is good. Does a good job looking at how the White scars operate. Must read.
