About this listen

Exciting short listen!

Hunting Jack Reacher is dangerous business. Reacher lives totally off the grid, but he has friends - and enemies - in high places

Lee Child gives this series two thumbs up!

"Full of thrills and tension, but smart and human, too. Kim Otto is a great, great character - I love her." (Lee Child, number-one worldwide best-selling author of Jack Reacher thrillers)

FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar have received a special off-the-books assignment: Build a secret file on Jack Reacher. Otto and Gaspar reveal a bit of themselves as they make every effort to put Jack in a Box. Reacher fans know that no one boxes with Jack and lives to tell about it. Will Otto and Gaspar be the first to succeed when so many have failed?

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Diane Capri brings her insider knowledge to bear on her friend Lee Child's iconic character. Have you joined the hunt for Jack Reacher yet?

This was a waste of a good credit for something barley long enough to be a story. Not happy with this one.

Waste of a credit!

Book 1 was an interesting add on to a Reacher story. Seems this could have been part of a longer book.

Story too short

Disappointed that I paid the same as a full novel and just received a small amount of entertainment.

Expected more

This book should have been the opening chapter of a Reecher novel. Disappointment is an understatement.

Short

Didn't realize book os only an hour long. Actually it doesn't add much, if anything, to the story of finding Jack.

why so short

I listened to YOU DON’T KNOW JACK. I was an interesting concept. I tried JACK IN A BOX. What? It was over as soon as it started.

Short Story?

Again Jack Reacher doesn’t appear in the story
There is less description and more dialogue, making the story more lively than with the original author.
But the two main characters are the opposite of Jack Reacher, which will disappoint some readers. While Reacher is physically imposing, a good shooter and fighter, the two characters in this book are just ordinary agents: the female character is only 90 pounds while the male character has a limp. They possess no superior skills of any kind, contrary to Reacher

Expensive for just one hour and 40 minutes

I can’t believe I got charged a full credit for such a short book. I feel like I got ripped off.

Wow…in a bad way

This was a short story. I wish I wouldn't have bought it. I don't need to hear any more about anti acids either.

Disappointed

Should be part of another book, doesn’t really add anything to the story as a stand alone book.

Nothing
