Discover the untapped power of the human mind.

How do champions like Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic and Usain Bolt suppress their fear of failure and find the belief to win? How did Michael Phelps and Jessica Ennis-Hill visualise their own futures? What exactly is 'The Zone'? And how do you get there?

Drawing on over 100 exclusive interviews with the world's elite stars of sports, ranging from boxing to rugby union, Formula One to the Paralympics, Clyde Brolin sets out to discover the secrets of true success and show how they can be used by all of us in our own lives, whoever we are.

I enjoyed the book and lessons. The author did a good job showing many examples of the zone from various sports and activities. I like how he created the chapters to build up to the lesson throughout.

I've read or listen to about 7 different books on being in the zone or flow over the last couple of years. Most I found lacking in terms of ways and methods on how athletes get in the zone. This book surprised me. The author's interviews uncovered some good strategies and tips that can be used and practiced for reaching the zone. I also just enjoyed the stories. Now, all of that being said the book doesn't break new ground. Most of these things are known by high end athletes and sports psychologists. I just think the author did a great job presenting it all in an entertaining and very listenable way.
