About this listen
NATIONAL BESTSELLER FOR FANS OF A DOG'S PURPOSE. This tenderly told story reveals a comforting narrative ... told from the point of view of a loving angel dog, who wants you to know, “I’m still here ... But I’m also there where all the animals run free, with no pain, waiting for you, watching for you, loving you, and guiding you.”
“It’s the most comforting, uplifting, rewarding, adorable, funny book!”—NPR
Losing one’s dog is one of the most difficult experiences we go through and it’s hard to find solace. However, the profound, four-legged narrator of I’m Still Here has nothing but good news for humans. The free verse is equally rhapsodic about the eternal nature of our souls and the amazing sound of crinkly wrappers that means cheese is about to be sliced. This very good dog proclaims that love never dies, that we will meet again, and that if you ever doubted that humans are magnificent creatures, look no further than the humble ball.
There is nothing to fear, because it is this dog’s purpose to pull you (like a bad dog who doesn’t know how to do “leash”) toward joy, and to remind you to relish all the naps and treats life has to offer.
Author Cathryn Michon co-wrote the blockbuster hit film A Dog’s Purpose. This is a tale for anyone who has ever said goodbye to a dog (or person) gone too soon, because it’s always too soon. It turns out that the best way to honor those we’ve loved and lost is to be here now, until we meet again.
With musical accompaniment and narrated by the author herself, this audiobook will soothe and comfort anyone dealing with losing their beloved best friend. It’s meant to be enjoyed on its own or paired with the beautifully illustrated book.

Communications from beloved pets are seen by thousands every day. Some messages are given in ways that require an acute awareness and more interpretation as well. From the heavens above, signs are given by deceased pets to connect with their families they left behind. Oftentimes, the gifts they share are unseen or are difficult to identify. Learning to speak the language of spirit requires practice, but once identified, the joy of hearing from your pet in spirit can bring great comfort.

So disappointed
This book has been in my Amazon cart since September. I absolutely could not wait to "read" it. problem was I don't read actual books, so I waited for it to be an audio book. Having just lost my 2 dogs 5 months apart last year, I NEEDED this book. Sadly, this was super disappointing. The way it is read (sorry Caroline), was terrible. This should've been given to someone who actually performs audio books. And who in the world thought that the piano music every 3 minutes was a good idea? At some points it was so loud and it drowned out the voice. That seriously was the worst part.
Also, if she had said "im still here" one more time, I was shutting it off. I played it for a friend for 6 minutes and she asked how I made it through the book.
EVERY THING in me wanted to LOVE this book. It was just bad. Maybe I'd have appreciated the actual book more, who knows.
Sorry for the terrible review.
