About this listen
A year after a cunning serial killer slaughtered Detective Hudson's daughter, Liz, a man named Ed Roth confesses to the murder to an informant. For some reason, Hudson is convinced Roth is lying. Why did Roth confess to a murder he didn't commit? What's his agenda?
Is Hudson wrong about Roth?
When another woman is killed the same way as Liz, Roth becomes the prime suspect. Despite all their efforts, detectives find no evidence linking him to the crime. They try to get him to confess on tape but fail.
As he digs into Roth's past, Hudson discovers a mystifying conspiracy that might involve another serial murderer. The detective soon realizes that Roth may know his deepest secret, one that could kill him and everyone he loves.

Worst Narration EVER
What a shame, to exert so much time and effort into writing a compelling story only to have it MASSACRED by a computer generated narration. Does the author not have any creative control over these stories? Absolutely painful to listen to. No more of my time will be wasted on computer generated narration, it is insulting to the author and the reader.
