About this listen

Ed Landry has embarked on his most dangerous mission yet—marriage and fatherhood. The solid ground beneath him has turned to sea, carrying him far from home. Meanwhile, the waves from his last stumbling fall into the bayou are rippling through his world. He’s gained an FBI shadow. A whole new group of enemies spring from the jungle to join hands with old foes. An animal cry answers the question; who walks away?

Jack LaFountain shares another great story on his series. The plot held me spell bound.. LaFountain's characters develop well.
The lady narrator does a wonderful job of bringing the story to life

Another well done story

Like the story but the woman's voice is hard to listen to. won't be buying any more with her work.

Over all the book is good. I’ve read all of them. Not a fan of the narrator. I’m from the south and the accent can be overkill.

Another good Ed Landry novel

Not a fan at all of the narrator. In my opinion, sounded a little too cartoony, like trying to create an accent, but just seem like a fake one. I listened to the first four books of the Ed Landry series and, in my opinion Cameron Buckner did a much better job narrating the series.

Disappointed in the ending.
