About this listen
Try not to listen to those who whisper.
Tommy Roling has a great freelance job, a healthy daughter, and a new city to call home. Plus he's finally comfortable with the fact that he's a werewolf. So why isn't he happy?
Could it be his daughter's "terrible twos", which seem even more terrible because she chooses to stay in her wolf body most of the time? Or is it his growing distance from his family, as well as Nina, his on-again, off-again girlfriend?
Those questions remain unanswered as a group of strangers disrupt the lives of Tommy, his daughter, and his slacker brother. The strangers give Tommy and his small pack a harsh glimpse of the whispering madness that hovers just outside the safe boundaries of their fragile little world.
A world that Tommy just might not be able to hold together on his own.

Story
Looking back with wiser eyes now, my family and I concluded that the events leading up to my transformation started during the summer I turned nine. But the day we realized there was a problem - and there was no turning back - was a week before I started my senior year at Junction City High. That was the day the fangs and claws appeared, and the monster inside me emerged. When mutilated corpses appeared near a pile of brush down by Caney Creek, everything changed.

Good Second Book
Tommy, Nina, Burt and Corinne are at it again. The narrator was spot on with the characters. The story moved forward at a nice pace. Many of societies problems were addressed in the book. And yes there was a terrible two who stole the show. She would not come out of her wolf form which caused a few issues. Nina also presented some problems. But Burt with his drinking and just going through the change were not so good. I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. I got through this book better thsn I did the first one so perhaps there's hope for book 3.

Hunter's Moon: Family Pack, Book 2
“This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.”
Tommy is back, still single parenting his now two year old daughter. He and his brother moved to a house of their own because brother was drinking and aunt didn't like
it. They are now running a small pack that have new enemies. Tommy second guesses the way he is raising his daughter, This story is about people with differences and
how others perceive them. This didn't end with a cliffhanger, but it seems a bit of foreshadowing for a possible third book.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.I enjoyed the excitement the narrator portrayed.

Good Book
Any additional comments?
“This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.”
The Good: Good pretty well describes this book, good story, good narration, good overall.
The Bad: The story at 4 stars is fudging, I thought the story had some really weak points, but definitely better than 3 stars. At times the characters came across somewhat stupid and afraid to be werewolves.
Good, not great, there are some weak moments with the story line and characters, but overall it was a decent listen.

Smart and Funny
This is a third-person installment of single parent Tommy, his big brother, Burt, and his daughter Corin, the cutie-pie toddler (and kicking, scratching, biting, protective wolf-cub) who happens to be my favorite character. I also love the short-haired scribbler who has a particular sensitivity to other people’s thoughts. These flawed characters and others work well to create a kaleidoscope of conflict and betrayal and mayhem and forgiveness and family dysfunction that conjures empathy and, better yet, likability. In the story, we join Tommy and his crew in the quest the source of strange werewolf behavior and in their confrontation with hatred, bigotry, and corporate greed and mass control. The story presents these familiar issues lightly, but also with an air of reality that allows listeners on all ranges of the spectrum to relate. The writing is witty and clever and, best of all, does not get in the way of the story which was chock full of surprises and keeps moving forward until, unfortunately, it brings winds you to the graceful end.
The narrator did a super job with the characters, which makes my gripe with his handling of the role as “story-teller” sound contradictory even to me, but here it is. When he is out of “character-role” he sounds like a reporter, not a “story-teller.”

Entertaining and Enjoyable
Any additional comments?
This is the 2nd book in the Family Pack series. It starts a year after the first book ended. Tommy, Corinne, Burt, Nina and company are back again with a few new allies and still trying to deal with the aftermath of all the trouble Uncle Carl has caused.
This installment is just as fun, enjoyable and entertaining as the first book was. This story doesn't end in a cliffhanger but definitely leaves the door open for more installments.
It's hard enough raising a child as a single parent. When you daughter can turn into a wolf in an instant things are even more complicated. Then add in friends disappearing, wolf whisperer's, Corinne being collared, Antiwolf's devices, Uncle Carl and Tommy really has his hands full.
Trying to find answers has the group constantly moving from one situation to another. Antiwolf dot com is still operating and they have new "toys" in their arsenal to try out on Tommy and company. The story moves forward at a pretty good pace and you find out who and the reason behind much of what is going on.
The story again is narrated by Maxwell Zener. Really like the fact that they are staying with the same narrator and keeping the consistency of the character voices. He has a nice voice easy on the ears. Clearly spoken. Smooth even pace. His wolf voices are great.
Repeated line chapter 25 about a minute left in chapter.

Well-named series.
The small Rowland family pack is close knit and loving. Precocious little Corinne, however, makes the "terrible twos" in human children look like a walk in the park. Tommy is doing his best to raise his little girl, but life keeps getting complicated. For one thing, Uncle Carl's anti-wolf campaign has spread.
I haven't read the first book in the series, but the author adeptly gives enough information about events in the previous book to make this one do well as a stand-alone. I recommend it highly as a look at "ordinary people" who just happen to be able to shift their shapes.

Wolf whisperers?
Continuation one year later from book one Family Pack. Chronicles of a dysfunctional werewolf family that in many ways mimics real life. Tommy and clan are still dealing with the turmoil that Uncle Carl caused with his antiwolf dot com website. Now they are being hunted by a group calling themselves "Bringers of Darkness" intending to recruit them. Recruit them for what purpose? The group includes members who are “wolf whisperers”. Werewolves cannot ignore their voice and must do what they are told. All werewolves except Corrine that is. She is immune to their power and Tommy does not know why. Who are these people and what do they want? Many strange things going on and Tommy needs to get to the bottom of them to protect his family and friends. Three.point.five for a unique story. A Family Affair
This book is book 2. I have never read/listen to any books by this author. I received this book free for an honest review. The story is about a werewolf family. Tommy, his 2 year old daughter Corinne and his older brother Burt.
They along with several other people battle a group of individuals that want to prevent the shifters from changing into what comes natural.
This was a pretty good story and considering it missed the first book it was pretty easy to follow. The narration was great.

An Entertaining Read..
Any additional comments?
This book is the sequel to Family, Pack: Family Pack.
Corinne,Tommy's daughter, and his brother, Burt are the focus in this book.
There is a little romance in this book plus, new characters including the Villain(s) which led to an entertaining read.
Maxwell Zener did well with the narration.
