Hunted is a captivating audiobook. It blends romance, intrigue, and detailed world-building, including biology, social dynamics between species, politics, and shifting perspectives. I haven't read the other books in the series, but that didn't impact my enjoyment of this book. I might listen to the previous books because this audiobook was difficult to put down and because I'm already starting to miss the world Kat Kinney created in this series.

The only downsides (for me) were the over-emphasis on Ellie's anxiety and some aspects of the narration. The focus on Ellie's anxiety slowed down the pacing at several points in the story (particularly in the book's first half) and became somewhat irritating after a while. The narrator's voice was perfect for Ellie's character in that she did a great job selling Ellie's anxiety, but again, it became too much. Also, a couple of unusual pronunciations (e.g., fondant, milieu) pulled me right out of the story. It wasn't severe enough to avoid the book—truly two or three words in total.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy paranormal romance with detailed world-building.

A great paranormal adventure as Ella is trying to find a way to safely let vampires drink werewolf’s blood and venture in daylight without after effects . There is so much tension, battles and rebellion going on there’s total chaos but I really like how the Caldwell family still has many moments. They gather for games, barbecues, carving pumpkins and holidays giving slices of real life. An interesting and exciting read.

This is the fifth story in the paranormal "Blood Moon, Texas" shifter romance series. The story is about Ellie and River. I love the characters and the plot is intriguing and interesting. The narration on the audio was good and did a good job bring the story and characters to life.

Hunted by Kat Kinney is an excellent paranormal shifter romance. Amber Goode did an incredible job with the narration. Hunted is the fifth book in the series Blood Moon, Texas Shifters. The story is interesting, romantic, dramatic, entertaining, and more. Ellie Crowe is trying to find a cure for a Neurological disease that is Running rapid through the vampire community. River Caldwell Is her bodyguard. Ellie is being hunted by someone who hasn’t wanted her to succeeded. River maybe the only person who is ruthless enough to keep her alive. Will feeling develop between them? Can River keep his mind in the game long enough to kill whom ever is after Ellie? Listen to find out. Hunted Book 5 in Blood Moon, Texas Shifters by Kat Kinney is a really good addition to the series. I love the characters especially River and Ellie their dynamic is complicated but sweet. The narrator did a nice job voicing the characters.

I love this series and Kat Kinney. In this book we are back with the pack and River. He feels so bad about his mate and what was done to her. He does everything in his power to keep her safe and he is still in love with her. Will she finally forgive him? Will she fall back in love with him?.

I did not care for the narration. Sorry!
I don't get as much time to sit and read though, so audio is necessary to feed my addiction while still adulting. That said, I am so hooked on the Blood Moon series that I will continue to cringe my way through the audio until I have time to sit down with the stories.
Loved finally getting to learn River and Ellie's part in everything, and I can't wait to get to the next one!.

The fifth story in the Blood Moon, Texas Shifters. River Caldwell has hunted fugitives ever since he joined the Tracers must make sure that Scientist and researcher Ellie Crowe stays safe. what she does not remember is that they have met before and he had to erase that memory. The story is well written with a very good storyline that grabbed my interest from the start. I enjoyed listening to Amber Goode narrate their story.
