About this listen
There’s only two rules to being a male stripper in Vegas.
#1. Always be attainable.
#2. Never fall in love.
And I’ve been living by these rules for a very long time.
I love my life. I’m one-third of the Trifecta, only the naughtiest male revue show Sin City has ever seen. My days consist of working out, saving money, and entertaining women both on and off the stage.
Until the moment Clara walks into Big Willie’s and wants nothing to do with me. She avoids me at every turn. And it drives me crazy. But when she needs a date for her step-sister’s wedding, there’s only one person she can turn to. Me. And I’m more than happy to be the piece of meat on her arm. Date for the wedding, and nothing else. Only one problem, I find myself wanting more.
This is all new to me, and I find myself breaking both my rules. But this is Vegas, baby, and sometimes rules are meant to be broken.

This story was sooooo much fun!!! Ben is dastardly….Clara is sweet…and the antagonists are simply dreadful!
This Audiobook was narrated by Misty Rilley, who does a wonderful job. But, she doesn’t distinguish between male and female characters. The ‘voice’ is the same for all of them. Nevertheless, the story was great!!
Delightful Trifecta!!

At first, I wasn't too crazy about the Trifecta (Ben, Axel and Damien), but I warmed up to them partway through the book. My feelings may have been partially due to the narration, I'm not sure. I like how the brothers support each other. Also, although they are identical in looks, they have different personalities. I ended up liking Ben a lot, as he is protective and steadfast, even though it took him a while to admit he had a thing for Clara. I'm not sure what I think of Clara; she comes across as a bit of a nebbish and she blows hot and cold where Ben is concerned. And I really want to know, are there really women in the world who are as shallow and nasty as Clara's step sister Maureen?? She and her friends and her mother are utterly reprehensible! That being said, I enjoyed the plot and I found the book entertaining, low angst, and a short read.
I listened to the audiobook. I'm sorry to say that I really was not fond of the narration by Misty Rilley. Although she read with expression, she read quickly and she did not pause at periods, commas, or between speakers, so there were times I completely lost the train of the story. I almost stopped listening to the audiobook after the first couple of chapters, since I disliked the narration so much. The way she made the three triplets talk to each other in the first chapter (including their intonation and voices), I mistook them for girls, especially Damien. But I'm glad I persisted, as I ended up enjoying the story itself. I would still read or listen to the next books in the series, as I would like to hear Axel and Damien's stories.
I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The narration wasn’t my favorite. I think I would love her in a different book. She had a Gilmore girls vibe which I love but it didn’t go with this book for me. I normally speed narration up slightly and I had to slow it down to try and keep the characters straight.
Love the story
