 At the age of 24, Kelsey Simon is a very attractive redheaded young woman working in a coffee shop owned by her aunt. She is engaging and friendly, with a warm and sweet personality, but for one thing: she harbors a general disdain for the college students who frequent the café, and for that matter, other people who do not share her outlook on life.

That has gotten in the way with her dating life in the past, but when she experiences a mutual attraction with Brad Musgrove, a new professor at the University across the street from the coffee shop, it becomes much more crucial.
