On her journey to save her town from greedy higher-ups, she makes an enemy out of Marshal Tristan Vaurien. It just so happens he also runs all the deputies and yanks the chains of a few dastardly creatures including mystical warlocks and deadly shape-shifters. Two bounty hunters, Rowan Shaw and Sebastian Corbeau, get an offer neither can refuse, and they both have one thing in common: Both hold magic in their hands that can twist the fabric of Stevie's future.
One's a kind mage, the other brooding and dangerous. Can you ever really avoid danger in the west?
When the past comes back to haunt the trio, each is reminded of events they'd rather forget, and love broods in the strangest of places. Hopefully Stevie Capot can keep her wits about her in this crazy adventure full of even crazier creatures.

This was a great listen. L.D. Wosar put a great twist on this Robin Hood tale. Ready for the next one.

Exciting adventure series
Excellent narrator brings to life the tale of a woman who turns from a life of pain to a life of service, channeling the spirit of Robin Hood with her own flair for weapons and wit. When her antics draw the attention of the local lawmen, she ends up with two powerful warlocks on her tail. Highly recommend for fans of adventure and magic.

This is very well narrated and the story goes smoothly and it will leave you wanting more and the narrator brings the characters to life and makes it believable

First in a series.
The story of Stevie Capot, who becomes like Robin Hood to help the poor people in Sedna. The Marshal, Tristan Vaurien is out for her head and hires Rowan Shaw and then Sebastian Corbeau to get it for him. Little does he know that the men have other plans.
Stevie's life is constantly in danger and the men hired to kill her work hard to keep her alive. Stevie has dreams of the men and she wonders if they are in anyway true. As the book unfolds we learn more about Stevie and her past and her connection to Rowan and Sebastian.
