Great book!
I loved the 2nd book as much as the 1st one. The storyline kept me interested and intrigued the whole time. The ending was unexpected.
The narrator did a fantastic job bring this book to life. Well done!

Another Cozy Delight! Fantastic Story & Narration🎧
Jo-Ann Lamon Reccoppa pens another delightful cozy mystery, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Colleen Caruso comes across another dead body, this time it is her hair stylist and she plans to find out what happened to her. Colleen is looking for a full-time position at the newspaper and this may be her chance. Ken Rhodes continues to steer her in the right direction with reporting, he is still a bit of a mystery but there is an attraction and chemistry between them and their relationship continues to grow, I am looking forward to see where it leads and learning more about him. There is never a dull moment with Colleen on the case, she follows all leads, gets in trouble and brings attention to herself not only from the good guys but the bad ones too. The author does a great job keeping you guessing who done it while unfolding all the details, besides the crime mystery we get some more family drama and I loved how she weaves the storylines and brings it all together. This cleverly plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, mystery, some witty dialogue to lighten things up and a side of romance. Thank you for another enjoyable story.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing l narration, Meghan Kelly continues to deliver an exceptional performance bringing the characters and story to life. Her character voices are consistent and she is fabulous at covering the roles for both the female and male characters, giving each their own distant voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the character’s emotions and projects them into her performance, having you feel every single one. With Meghan Kelly at the mike you are in for a treat, she is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

Loved it!
Jo-Anne wrote an exciting story! She nailed every minute of this mystery with her twist and turns.
Meghan Kelly has magic in her voice when she narrates! I can’t get enough of listening to her! I especially love how she can do both male and female roles! It makes the story come to life.

Fun & Unpredicable!
I am having so much fun with this series! Being from Jersey, the references Jo-Ann Lamon Reccoppa uses makes it feel like I am reading about the town next door! Colleen once again finds herself mixed up in a murder case. Finding Dizzy at the beauty salon, drowned in her sink is just the tip of the iceberg. When another murder is stumbled upon, Colleen is off and running to get the story. A sleuth by nature but not trade, she finds herself in more than one sticky situation! But her ideas and hunches leads her down a path that has her in danger! Will she solve the case before the police do? Reccoppa has a way of writing that is fun, yet holds that realistic feel. With Colleen in trouble with law, her mother always yelling, and her kids giving her flack, she is a normal, everyday person. I love her relationship with Ken as it grows, and the suspicion she is holding! I can't wait to see where it leads her next! It's going to blow things up!
Meghan Kelly gives a stellar narration. I love when she does cozy mysteries. She has such a wide variety of voices, and cozies always have a lot of quirky characters. She fits each one with the perfect voice. I loved this performance and look forward to the next installment to this series!

Another entertaining mystery
This is the second book in a series. I found it very entertaining and funny. It was exciting to follow the main heroine in her search to solve a double homicide. Moreover, a little romance never heats anybody.
The narrator was great. She was able to give each character its voice and personality.

Fantastic Mystery
Great cozy mystery involving hairdressers and wannabe news writers. Just the right amount of quirk and sass. This was a Fun listen!

ENTERTAINING POSITIVE MYSTERY
I found this book fun and the mystery intriguing. There is something about Coleen, I like her sense of thinking and her manner which is complimented by Megan Kelly"s narration, in fact I think all the characters benefit by the expressive narration. I also like Coleen's mother with her big voice and opinions and that the teenage daughter isn't snarky but has a humour about her.
