Don’t be fooled by the genres.
This book was a crime story with a bit of supernatural ghost in it. Really enjoyed it.

Did not see that coming!!
Totally did not see the ending coming that way! Really enjoyed this one. Kept me on my toes.

Subverting expectation perfectly
Story - Character arc was well developed that you are able to relate with the character. This impact is further deepen with the superb pacing and narration of the story. Twist was definitely unexpected although was little superficial at the end which works with the tone of the story. Was also surprised to know that the author was a male since his portrayal of the main character (female) felt so accurate.
Performance - Narrator did a brilliant job voicing the different characters in the story. The tone and intonation were perfect and enhanced the already great story.
