About this listen

John G. Lake's enduring faith, persistent faith, sacrificial faith, strong faith kept John fighting and triumphing. His family was ravaged by terminal sicknesses, always faced death of a loved one. He fought back and never gave up. He grew up to become a top rich business executive but he sold his estate to obey God. He gave up his wealth and comfort in a developed America to go to an undeveloped Africa - Apostle to Africa, a foreign land, and a place where he has never been before. He knew no one there. After giving out all their wealth and possession, they depended and believed God to see them through to Africa and that God exactly did. Without even having air fare for his family and team they set out to the Airport. God intervened and provided the fare miraculously and free accommodation on arrival. With a strong healing anointing and spiritual gifts God used him to establish many churches, led many to Christ and sponsored many missionaries to the hinterlands of South Africa. In spite of all the glory and grace they experienced in the mission field, most of the ministers and members of his family suffered different types of sicknesses, diseases and many died of malaria from mosquito bites. They broke the evil covenants, siege and bondages upon the land and people of South Africa. John Lake and team served God through stiff and malicious persecution and opposition. They lost their freedom, wealth, health but still served God faithfully. Now in all our freedom, affluence and modern technology, how are we serving?
- We need the word of God to grow but we need the VOICE OF GOD TO SURVIVE- familiarity with the secret place is familiarity with the glory place. Abide in his presence
- Those who never face oppositions always stop at propositions and those who never confront obstacles live with delays and postponements
- In every problem is a lesson to learn, bitterness to sweeten, an asset to assess, load to lightened or price to pay
- Attempting the impossibility with a possibility God breaks the impossibility barriers
- Remember that victory only come by fighting and winning wars. Therefore fight and faint not
