About this listen
Wes Calhoun is ready to take a stand. All around him, his siblings are settling down, but not him. It's time to travel and enjoy life. But first he needs to work with his brother on a new venture.
Kyndall Morrison is on a deadline. Due to a medical situation, she’s been told she needs to have children in the next couple of years. She really wants a family of her own, but she always seems to end up dating men who aren’t ready to settle down. So when circumstances force her and Wes Calhoun to spend time together, she immediately sees he has no interest in a relationship.
The last thing Wes wants to do is lead Kyndall on. He has no plans to get married and have kids soon, and he doesn't want to waste her time on a dead-end relationship. But soon, he finds himself battling feelings for her and wondering if settling down is so bad, after all.
The Calhoun Cowboy Camp series is a sweet, clean contemporary western romance series filled with swoon-worthy cowboys and a small-town setting.

This should have been under fantasy
A book shop assistant with zero child-related experience, zero planning, and zero preparation takes more than a dozen 5 year old boys and girls for a weeklong sleep over camp. Low and behold, without checking and without any sort of background check, she'd been relying on the camp to provide additional counselors for 24-hr support. She manages to fumble through with the help of an equally unprepared gorgeous stud of a ranch owner's son who sees this unprepared woman and his first thought (after she's hawt) is she's an expert with children, she'll make a great mom. WTF?? I couldn't get past what sort of parent sends their 5 yr old away for a week with 1 person, without any agenda, or who will take my child to the bathroom, help them dress, and sleep in their cabin as well as that there has been some minimum background check and some of the safety measures at their destination.
By mid-week (2 days?) they've already fallen in love and he, essentially, proposes by the end of the week. The only reason I listened the whole way through was some weird fascination with how ridiculous the whole store was. That I rate the virtual voice narration higher than the story says it all.
