🎧 Narration: Dual - 2.5x - Allyson Voller & Luke Welland
both narrators were new to me but i was very impressed with them both. i loved the smile you could hear in allyson’s voice during the banter & her more vulnerable parts were so believable. luke was fantastic. i loved his performance, he added so many small details like a half laugh before he spoke. he also nailed the emotional moments for hayes’ character. definitely will be keeping my eye out for more books from both narrators they really brought this story to life.

i love hayes madigan with my whole chest. he was so precious. protect this man at all costs. a surly, tatted up, playboy mechanic who falls first & falls harder?! say less. i loved the OWYM age gap & how it never mattered to either of them. they were in their 30’s & acted like they were which i really appreciated. this is a bit of a slow burn but the tension & connection & communication between hayes & della was everything. i got super emo at the end & cried happy tears for these two finding their happily every after. if you’re looking for a quick read full of banter & good spice - definitely recommend this one!

I've read all of this series and each one are amazing!! This one right here had me crying, laughing, and most of hoping for love again!! I felt Della's pain!! I understood Hayes destructive behavior!! I want everything Della wants in this book, someone to want her, choose her, chance her, love her, never leave her, communicate with her, understand her, most of all not run away when things get hard!! And to be on this growth with Hayes was amazing!! You know the moment he realizes he's done with everything!! Party time is over!! I'm here for you, not for what you can do for me!! When those words were said.... my heart was like here you go, I'm all in, you have everything you want from me!! I love how he has the dream of his Mom and it was like click!! 10/10 will highly recommend this one and the whole series!!

Let me start by saying that I LOVE this book series. The stories are light are refreshing but also have substance to them. This one was no different. I could relate to the story of Della and Hayes on so many levels. The narrator is great and I love the pop ins of other familiar characters.
