Moving with so much Wisdom
A MUST LISTEN! The stories are so well done, so moving and with such wisdom. Thus showing us that even the most horrific tragedies can lead to profound growth and insights and then have others grow through their stories. These stories help us to see the profound and difficult truth that somehow, no matter how painful, something amazing and profound can come from it and therefore has a higher purpose. They are so well read and written. Amorah did a fabulous job of finding such amazing women with so much to share and to do it with so much talent!! Just perfect!

The power that we all have to heal.
I was absolutely captivated. This collection of stories, beautifully curated by my dear friend Amora, moved me to laughter, tears, and everything in between. Each woman’s journey is a testament to resilience, turning life’s toughest challenges into incredible triumphs. The anthem, ‘Speak Out,’ ties these stories together, making the audiobook a powerful reminder of the strength we all have inside. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking inspiration and empowerment.

Gutsy stories shared in authenticity
I recommend this book to all the gutsy women out there that may not know how gutsy they are. I recommend this book to all the men out there who are in awe of gutsy women and curious about their journeys. This is a celebration of authenticity and vulnerability in getting through difficult things- to the other side as well as sharing difficult stories with truth and raw strength.

"Being Finned"
On June 19, 2017 my friend Heidi's son Finn, formerly her daughter, Emily, took his own life. His teacher told Heidi that whenever he'd pass Finn in the hallway at school, Finn would give him a wink and a nod, and he'd feel lighter. He called it "being Finned". And countless others who encountered this beautiful boy added to the catalog of "being Finned" stories.
In "I've Been Finned", Heidi offers the listener her experience of finding hope, peace and greater capacity to love on the other side of unimaginable loss.
One constant about my friend Heidi is her commitment to being fully present to every aspect of this life. While most of us, quite understandably, turn to anything that will numb our pain, Heidi turns directly into it. She lets it move through her and then she lets it move her through.
Another constant about Heidi is that the process of working through her pain ultimately prompts her to turn outward and offer up her experience to others for healing, connection, and clarity about a higher purpose.
We may not be able to comprehend such transcendence. The very idea of feeling hope and joy after such a loss likely seems impossible. But Heidi's story offers that very possibility. Her rigorous authenticity is undeniable. And if that keeps us drawing one more breath, taking one more step, choosing life one more time, then another person has "been Finned".
