Not so much
As much as I love this series this isn't my favorite one in fact I think book 2 was worse.. As much as I loved this one it was Kat who kept getting on my nerves.. I love the story line and the fighters they are but I had trouble getting over the way Kat acted at times..

Loved it!!!! Kat and Steel are my favorite characters of this series! I love Kat's strength and determination! I also love the fact that she stays true to herself! The fact that Steel loves and isn't intimidated by a strong, accomplished woman is so sexy! It's so cool that women with muscles turns him on! That's a part of this trope you don't often get to see! Steel & Kat - Great Story
I didnt know if I would like this book or not. I'm a huge fan of MMA but picturing the h as a muscular woman I didnt think I would like. I'm not sure that Kat was that muscular but the main thing was is that Steel loves a more than usual physically fit woman like Kat. The beginning of the book had me laughing so many times. Jeanne is great at writing some laughs into her story. Steel goes to Nevada to be a bodyguard for Kat, Kity Kat as Steel calls her, who has a stalker. He's attracted to her from the moment he sees her and also an A-hole. The story not only consist of Steel trying to keep Kat safe and find the stalker but of helping Kat through another issue that has effected her life since her early teenage years. What better person than the hot sexy Marine. We also get to hear about Steels life growing up and it broke my heart. He has come a long way in life given the horrible start to his life from birth until he joined the military. The book was totally hot bringing out a side of Steel that he's never experienced as well as showing Kat how good things can be. The narrators were great. Aaron is one of my favorites and always seek out books he's narrated because that voice of his. I nearly went week in the knees myself when he ask Kat in a sexy scene " Do you purr Kitty Kat"? 🔥 The story is awesome. I love Jeanne's writing. I would recommend this book so buckle up buttercup and enjoy.😉😁

Steamy Hot !
Guts And Glory Steel by Jeanne St James Book 5 of the In The Shadows Security Series is Steamy hot full of lots of emotion and suspense. Steel is a strong alpha charater who comes with his own past issues and Kat a fighter in every way. Steel has to watch out for her because she has a stalker and things get steamy and complicated between . I love the characters love the storyline . i would definitely recommend this book.

Another Shadow down!
I can’t lie, I didn’t want to like this book. I wasn’t a fan of Steel first off and secondly I’m not into tough woman. I usually prefer a softer heroine in my books. But OMG did I LOVE these two so much more than I expected. I should know by now to never think any different when it comes to Jeannes characters. She brings them to life from the first page and my heart is always completely wrapped up in them until the last. We always knew Steel was a jerk and he totally was in this book too but you really get to know who he truly is. He’s strong, determined, and loyal. I ended up absolutely loving him. Then there’s Kat who is a complete bad a** and such an inspiration. She’s so strong and independent and the kind of woman we need to teach younger generations of girls to be. The two of them couldn’t be more perfect for each other! This book was addicting from the start and I couldn’t recommend it more!
I loved the narration as always too! Aaron’s voice is delicious and Ava is hands down my favorite female narrator. I’m always recommending her to people!

This series gets better and better
The fifth book in the series and what a great addition to the series. I normally stay away from MMA stories, for some reason I usually cannot get into them. However, since this is by one of my favourite authors Jeanne ST James, I decided to give it a go and I am so glad that I did.
Narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas who did a great job with the narration, I was engrossed in the storyline from the first to the last chapter and couldn’t wait to see what Ms. St James had in store for Anson “Steel” Sterling and the woman he is charged to protect, MMA champion Katheryn “Kat” Callahan.
The chemistry between them was off the charts and yet underneath you can feel the attraction and love that is building between them. I loved how feisty and sassy Kat is and yet their is a vulnerable side that Steel unearths.
I fell hard and fast for Steel, he intrigued me and ticked the boxes for me. The story was well written, gritty, raw and the performances by Aaron and Ava really enhanced my enjoyment. The fact that Steel and Kat are both into MMA added an additional layer to the story.

LOVE STEEL❤
in all honesty, I wasn't sure if i'd be so excited about this book because Steel was such an was in many of the previous books. But as usual, I fell for the Grumpy Jagoffs!!! it probably didn't hurt that I really loved the story about Kat and her stalker. So creepy, but draws me in every time.... Also the unusual fact that she's an MMA fighter just adds more interest!!! Great book! Ava Lucas and Aaron Shedlock added fabulous narration to this one!!! ❤❤❤

steel is a good audiobook. I enjoyed it when I read it a long time ago so I loved being able to listen to it

Super Sexy
Bucklee up buttsrcup! Thiis book is so action packed you better hold on! Steel is so into women who keep in shape that when he's told to be the body guard of a female athete . Well when he meets Kat for the first timehe is happy to find out she is a female MMA fighter. He has to protector from a stalker that is leaving nasty presents for her.
Jeanne St James has done it again! Narrators Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas are just the best at bringing books to life!

This book comes out swinging
Steel and Kat bump heads from the very beginning and had me giggling at their verbal sparring at every turn. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other. Toss in the suspense of danger and raging hot passion and Jeanne St James has another best of the best reads.
As they always do, Aaron Shedlock and Ava Lucas absolutely brought these characters to life.
