Nice plan
love Lonely Planet and their books. Their Italy book furnished us with all that we required for our fourteen day excursion to Italy from eatery suggestions to what you have to do to get ready to travel abroad.

Very informative
We did not do a tour of Italy. We winged it. So this book was actually invaluable as we navigated through Venice, Florence, Rome, and Naples. Worth it.

Great information about Italy
I purchased this book as a gift for my brother and his wife, who are going to Italy for their honeymoon. Although I haven’t read this one personally, I have a few other Lonely Planet travel books and find them very helpful, and often have off the beaten path recommendations! Would recommend these books to anyone planning to travel, but unsure of where to go!

Easy to carry relatively easy to use. I'm getting older. My trip isn't for several months yet. We'll see how helpful this is. We may use a translator app as well.

Heaps of info....Very little print, focuses for the most part on shams and costly lodgings/eateries. Not what I was searching for as an exploring, threatening staying, going to Italy for next to nothing 61 yr old single lady voyager
