This book was alot of fun and Emily Skinner is a terrific narrator. I wish it was unabridged -- I'd gladly spend more time with these characters. And Jennifer Weiner's descriptions of parenthood in suburbia are just hilarius. Well worth reading!

Great fun!

I enjoyed the character because I am a stay at home mother and I could identify with a lot of what the character struggled with. I like the mystery aspect as well. I could have done without the detailed sexual parts.. not that I'm skiddish about sex- but the reader's voice made it sound very unsexy. The reader's voice was just a little too much like Bonnie Hunt for me- which is great.. just not in a sexual orientation. I kept hearing her as the female role in the movie 'Cars'. All in all: I enjoyed the book and will now be picking out another Jennifer Weiner to entertain this 'bored housewife' :) ha! right!

Great Mom read
