Das winzige Goldhähnchen wohnt mit seiner Vogelfamilie auf den vier Kiefern im Stadtpark. Doch diese Welt ist viel zu klein und viel zu langweilig, findet das Goldhähnchen und träumt von aufregenden Abenteuern jenseits des Parks. Zum Glück kommt eines Tages ein gewaltiger Sturm auf. Von ihm wird das Goldhähnchen geradewegs auf die große Straße gleich neben dem Park geblasen und immer weiter ins Häusermeer hinein. Dort trifft es auf die freche Spatzenbande. Und wieder hat es Glück: Die Spatzenmutter hält das Goldhähnchen für ein Spatzenkind und will es adoptieren. Jetzt können die Abenteuer wirklich beginnen!
