About this listen

The respectable doctor or the outlaw's son... who will Virginia choose?

Seeking a fresh start outside of his outlaw father’s shadow, Charlie Montgomery finds Silver City, Idaho Territory to be the perfect boom town for his adventurous soul. But when gold is discovered at the Crown Point silver mine where he is hired on, the gunslingers of his past reappear, putting Charlie and everything he holds dear in danger.

With her late father's debts to pay, nurse Virginia desperately engages in an unsavory one-time deal, realizing she can't outrun the consequences forever. She could accept Doctor Henderson's hand and all her problems would be over, despite their vast difference in age. Yet something about newcomer Charlie draws her like a bear to honey.
Charlie stirs her blood in a way she's never felt before, but can he be the man she needs - especially after a horrific mining accident? Find out in this quick-paced adventurous tale set in a 19th-century mining boom town.

Readers can expect sweet, clean romance with a satisfying happy ending.

voice is clear and strong, but the dictation and reading is awful. When a contraction is written it is spoken as two words. For example, I've is spoken I vee and we've is we vee.

words spelled the same but pronounced differently, don't always get the correct pronunciation. For example, "read" could be pronounced as reed or red and the word narrated is often the wrong form.

Lastly, the reader has no skill with foreign accents. The German accent in this book is horrid, it is like listening to chalk scratching on a chalkboard.

I don't recommend spending money on these recordings.
