Oh to be Fierce
I love this book! It reminds me of my wife who is 160 pounds right now at 50 and feels fat. The whole time I knew her, she was 130 and ALWAYS said she feels fat. I can attest to her energy levels being different because of her age even though she has a healthy diet. Something that I didn't know was that she NEEDS to do housework. It keeps her fit because she, like her mom and my son, are naturally fit but doesn't work out. (I'm making my son work out for soccer.) Her diet wasn't enough to give her her regular energy but she did notice an uptick for certain foods in energy. She definitely will read and mix and match in this book to feel normal again.

Great focus on weight loss AND overall health
This book is an enlightening resource that gives secrets to being healthy at this great age without breaking the bank. This guide introduces the power of intermittent fasting as not only an effective weight-loss strategy but also a means to lower the risk of serious illnesses, slow the aging process, and extend lifespan. I really like the focus on not just losing weight but on overall health. Sometimes I think we get so focused on weight loss that we forget that overall health is really what's more important.

Health and Wellness Step-by-Step
“First things first and one step at a time.” I’ve tried intermittent fasting before and had reasonable results. I love it that this book, with 10 different methods of intermittent fasting, focuses on women and though each will have a different result, I am so encouraged by the text that I am starting the 18:6 method shortly. I am looking forward to the wonderful benefits that I already know will accrue.
I am particularly impacted by the chapter titled “Eat This and That” which presents shopping lists and key information on the wholesome goodness of the ingredients suggested. The recipes in the final chapters are incredibly useful and welcome additions to the already fabulous book!

I sometimes get books geared to the opposite gender just to learn new perspectives. And I loved how this book gives Karin's personal journey as examples, as well as mixing very important personal development tactics to help you succeed on your health journey.

Excited to Apply This Book!!
It's incredible how far we've come in the world of health in the last ten years. That said, the breakthroughs and data-driven discoveries are only just now becoming more mainstream. When I gifted this book to my wife, she'd already been mildly researching articles about this data and how it relates to the shifts in her pre-50s body. And now that these numbers seem to be creeping up faster and faster for both of us, she's more motivated to seek out more densely packed solutions like this book. Yeah, I know this book is for women. But guys, listen up! We older guys need this information too. And a lot of this data also applies to men. This book has inspired me to get into intermittent fasting and has provided me with the proper motivation to improve my physical health. I am very happy to have it in my library as a resource. This book is well worth your time.
