About this listen
Learn how to confidently defend Biblical truth in this practical training manual on Christian apologetics.
Studies find that the most frequent reason for rejecting Christianity is that people could not get answers to their doubts. Finding Truth unpacks strategic principles that penetrate to the core of any perspective, to uncover its deepest motivations and weigh its claims.
Using critical thinking and biblical references, this apologetic book:
- Equips you with skills for testing other worldviews
- Gives you confidence and strategies to answer doubts & questions
- Presents Christianity as true and more attractive than other alternatives
Complete with an interactive study guide, Pearcey reveals that the certainties everyone is seeking are not found in God substitutes–but in Christianity and faith in Jesus.

"Pearcey promises that the principles she lays out will 'provide you with the tools to recognize what’s right and wrong with any worldview—and then to craft a biblically informed perspective that is both true and humane.' She makes the promise and she delivers on it. Finding Truth is, all-in-all, a worthy successor to Total Truth."—Challies.com (Tim Challies)
"As Pearcey (author of the 2005 classic Total Truth) so ably points out, both explicitly and through poignant real-life stories, “finding truth” is not a dry intellectual exercise ... She leads the reader step-by-step through these principles in an accessible way, providing concrete examples ... This book would make a fantastic graduation gift for high school seniors, especially those on their way to college ... I hope that Christians might pass on copies of Finding Truth to non-Christians, who might find Pearcey’s analysis of secular worldviews convincing and her presentation of Christianity appealing." excellent methodology of worldview analysis
pearcey offers an excellent, biblically grounded methodology of worldview analysis. I don't agree with all her free will stuff, but the core thesis of the book is good, practical, and extremely helpful in dealing with any religion or philosophy the world throws at you. Including some of pearcey's own inconsistencies ;-)
